Usually the interviewer is the dumbest person in the room for this kind of interviews but this guy asked some really insightful questions. Good job man for taking your job seriously.

nat did not have really dorky braces he had the kind with white brackets so you can't see them as much. Plus braces are so normal at this point no one says anything lol
That's how she always is, in every interview that I've watched of her I noticed that she just sits back and analyzes the room and people. its not that she's depressed, even though it is a chance she could be tired, she just concentrates on everything while not showing much expression
Shai is so different in person and like I know obviously she will be but I just feel she has no expression, kinda just no life like? It might just be me idk but still the best movie ever!! And I do love shai
I hate that John contradicts himself a lot. He says that normal life is not cinematic and wouldn't be filmed, but then ALWAYS pushes that Hazel and Gus have normal lives with physical limitations. So are they a spectacular occurrence or not? Seems to me like they are, if their story is entertaining and valuable compared to others' daily lives.
You essentially just answered your own question. He said normal, they have physical abnormalities which makes them adapt differently to the world than you or I. So technically speaking their lives are not normal when compared to the average human. When John says they're normal he means in a way that they have personalities and they're human just like us but they have a much more exciting story due to their abnormalities.
He has said before that cancer should not be the main reason people pay attention to the story, so their abnormalities should not make it a cinematic experience.
The interviewer acted like a Patrick. It disgusted me. Just look at the three of them. Their faces. They're like what kind of questions are you ASKING us? (And also, the fact that the interviewer had to read the falling in love quote from a SCRIPT just made me laugh out loud. Side note. This is pathetic.)

You're right! It even started to be the other way around where I live. Cool kids wear/wore braces.
