Kershaw killing it yet again! Really cool to see the knife kick as much butt in testing as it did with your own personal use.
Two reasons I'm watching this video.
1. I got my first Kershaw knife ever last week and it is amazing.
2. This knife is on sale today at BladeHQ for $19.99
I've seen you guys before and admire that you do what many knife channels don't. You actually show the knives being used in a real world scenario. Don't worry about not testing $300.00 knives. I own $300.00+ knives and do use them, but NOT the way I would use an inexpensive Kershaw. I started buying knives for cheap at my local pawn shop. I bought two Rat 1 knives in D2 steel, in brand new condition for $20.00 each. Then I git my first Kershaw knife. It's the Kershaw Flourish. Not the kind of knife I would buy. It has all the things I stay away from. 8cr13mov, a blade under 4", carbon fiber layer on the scales and assisted. Well, this little knife has showed me Kershaw can do all these things the right way.

The "belly" towards the point allows for chopping and that recurve makes it a great slicer.
I am loving this! Wow, talk about a good potential beater knife that you can abuse and not worry about ripping it up. Damn! Gotta say, I am impressed 👍

I got the powder coated blade with serrations. Remarkable rust resistance sharpens easy. I had to tighten the screws up after awhile.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Kershaw Hotwire go through these tests. It recently became my edc. Got it from wally world for 12 bucks.

Both ZT and Kershaw knives are made by KAI and the knives I've gotten from them have been solid. I wish Kershaw would use more 14c28n. Sort of strange that they don't, seeing as it was developed for them. Also I'm not a fan of assisted knives which they do quite a bit of, but have been coming out with more non-assisted knives which is nice.
I think the beauty of Kershaw is the wide range with a little bit of everything. The Leek with the 14c28n is almost 50, so maybe its to keep the budget friendly knives in budget?
I have the all black model; not too bad. I'd honestly prefer a manuel version, I fidget a lot and have already once wore out a kershaw brawler once. Blade is decent, not to sure on the grip, but the 3 inch blade lets me carry in places I can't use my larger models.
Dammm you wore out a brawler? I thought I fidget alot but I have yet to pull that off

We recently tested the Boker Kalashnikov but I will definitely add a Civivi with a button lock to the list
