A lot of bullcrap talk when the only reason people are using 1 and 2 star gems is to smurf. It is not about the bonus buffs when whales already had the buffs. Tanking ones reso on purpose while maintaining high secondaries to get into easier bg brackets is a load of crap. I am seeing 10K+ reso players dropping their reso to sub 5K intentionally to get an unfair advantage in the brackets they end up in. How much fun it is to fight a 4800 reso player with 10k and 11k secondaries. Anyone defending this crap is simply full of it.
I agree. This actually helps me in BG’s on the Silver Spire, because I also have high secondaries. So they drop their reso too much sometimes and get pounded. Or they just suck, because they’re used to just clearing the floor without skill and forget how to play the game anymore. They forget that when you have competition, it actually makes you better 😂
I've been looking at having a completely different build in PvP (2* gem based) vs PvE. Currently the only 2 star I am using is viper's bite (R10). The rest are 5* that are between R6 & R8. My build is built around continuous damage (Disintegrate/Frost beam/storm armor/Ice crystal - the latter 2 are almost 100% uptime). The issue right now is getting the copies for multiple 2 stars to rank 10. A single R10 two star gem requires 41 copies. A fully awakened 2* slot (350 res) is: 41 copies of the base gem & 685 gem fragments; 41 copies & 685 gem fragments for a 2 star; 41 copies of the 2nd 2 star & 684 gem fragments; and 6 copies of the 1 star & 196 gem fragments. That is a total of 123 two star gems, and 2,251 gem fragments. The gem fragments can be gathered by taking a bunch of mid level R5 5* gems, but the copies are the issue. The 3 bonuses aren't all that useful as well. This isn't realistic for most F2P players, unless they have been grinding for a really long time.
Anyone have info on if bliz will let us "sell" our say, rubies if u use tourmaline back? I think i slit them and am sitting on a few hundered or em. Wasted?
Yeah I switched to 1 and 2 star Legendary gems, keeping the 5 star gems around in case I get really lucky or Blizzard does something to make them cheaper to upgrade.
I leveled up 1 and 2 star gems to level 10 so I can awaken all my gear. I was fortunate enough to get 4 out of 5 star gems. I am leveling up these gems to level 5 so I can get the magic find bonus and still retain my awaken gear status. I think for low spenders in the game, it would be a good idea to level 1 and 2 star gems to 10, awaken your gear, run rifts to get better than 2 out of 5 star gems and replace your 1 and 2 star gems with the 5 star gems. I hope this make sense. For me, I just want the 3k res wings.
You can awaken gear with R4 gems now! No need to rank 1* gems to 10 just to get the awakening… if you’re going for 3k res you won’t get there with 1* gems
@@MookBOIMurksyou are correct. I’ve been playing since launch and prior to the most recent update, to awaken gear required orbs and rank 10 gems. I am replacing my rank 10 gems with 5 star gems to get my resonance up to 3k. Currently I’m at 2,500 resonance. 😊

My clan like I said prior is always on top of all clams on deck. I don’t have to a lot for it. I almost got fully awaken just got two weapon slots to do. (1 needs the rank 4 and the other 10k plat)
Lol that’s the business model they keep coming up with ways that require constant changes in the strategy for your build. Now getting everyone to start building two stars to get the underneath gem bonuses is just another way to keep the cash flowing.
I feel like they should stop nerfing everthing and put it all back to the way it was intended on being. Every class has its strong points and its weaknesses, and not every class can beat all the others. Thats where strategy comes into play.
Having issue during login... Now my mobile is using Android OS 15. Can ask Blizzard if any patch for this issue, I believe many people also experiencing the same problem.
I have seen many characters with 2 star and mixed legendary doing insane damage I believe withe right two stars and right legendary anyone goal achievable...but to get rid of most legendary gems not good idea
Hi my character is a crusader, today I decided to transfer gem power from rank 6 ig scorn and try the intrepidwell gem, forgive spelling. Managed to get intrpid to rank 9 but I notice something odd happen with my drawn n quartered. Currently my draw n quarter is 1 second cool down with ig scorn rank 6, yet with intrepid rank 9 I lose 3 seconds cooldown time, is it the reduction in res or something else? Any idea how I'm losing 3 seconds cooldown time? Thanks.
I don't care for pvp I hate competition-based content I found the gem advice useful to get those bonuses to use on pve that's how I would be using it if I invested in swapping gems

3:48 isn't it that ONLY 5* gems can be used the new extraction process (make it dormant but reactivate it with resonance gems insisde)?

They don’t need nerfs the Class but they can do a good Balance in all classes for more competitive game play

Somebody know if blizz have remove the pity 5 stars gem after using 50 legendary crest without 5 stars gems? I just run over 60 and i get no 5 stars!
The eternal and leg crest have separate pity systems

Bro, aux the roiling in the voidspark if that is what you are swapping out. You can rank it up and replace it at the same level if you like it.

With gems, I don't think 5* are the end all, be all. 1* and 2* can be rather helpful. Use the gems that help with your build.
