What is the Meaning of the Feather in Love Live!

- Throughout the entirety of Love Live, there’s a lot of imagery and thematic elements that are frequently mentioned and explored. Lights, shining, snow, flowers, darkness, zero, water, unity-all of these are integral to the core of Love Live’s story. From lyrics to the visuals, all of these are placed with great care and importance as they connect the meanings behind these tales of girls who seek the summit that is Love Live, to know what it takes to be a school idol. However, of all of these pieces of symbolism, there is one thing that prevails throughout the series above any of the others: a single feather that fell from the sky. This feather, which appears throughout the whole series and was even the image that began the story of Aqours is what is most prominently used throughout the entire series, but why? What could this feather mean? How does it connect the stories of the Legendary Nine and the Ten who defied fate?

Ok unironic comment this time, I actually cried. These Love Live! analysis videos you keep making actually prove to people that it isn't just some idol show that doesn't mean anything. You can even look at the seiyuus own interviews and see what they actually say about their experience with LL. If anyone tells me Love Live is just "idol trash", I can't take them seriously.

I still agree with people who think love live in general is just generic cute anime girl trash, but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it, I admit there are certain things about it that surprised me, the ending of the love live movie almost made me cry, almost

You never fail to bring tears to my eyes whenever you speak of love live. It makes me feel even more proud of being part of this community. I love the franchise so much and Aqours' story touched my heart very deeply. Keep up the great work.
I never realized the lyrics were so interconnected, so thank you so much for doing this video. Also the full meaning of the feather completely escaped me apart from being a symbol to connect µ's and Aqours, so again, wonderful analysis. A tear was shed while watching this.

Finally i found a channel that makes justice to Love Live showing the true meaning of everything the anime/songs have. Seeing people making fun of it saying horrible things of Who likes the anime just make me so sad...
I will Always be grateful to this franchise, it helped me to be better, a better person. Especially after the episode where ruby and hanamaru are joining aqours. That hit me so hard because i'm exactly like ruby. From personality to things that happened with her, i'm the exact same.

Aqours hardships were relatable and no other group can be as perfect successor of muse as them I enjoy both SIP and Sunshine, but Sunshine for me holds a special place in my heart. But what does the pink feather given to Saint Snow mean

Your use of the lyrics to connect with your video was perfect, as it not just bring out the great music, but also the positive, motivation messages that I think is the core of this franchise.

2. I just realized that Muse and Aqours have a strong connection, mentally. Even though they never met, their hearts seemed to be one.

Same, I used to think sunshine wasnt as good as original SIP but while binging these videos I realized both muse and aquors deserve the same amount of praise and they have both a unique beauty for themselves with the themes they represent, on top of that love live is pretty much my only weakness when it comes to getting emotional so I've been tearing up a lot and yet I dont regret discovering all of these vids.

Hot dang. I was thinking that this is just some fun video I could put in the background while drawing, but no, 7 minutes in, and I'm bawling my eyes out, then again at the end of the video. This is one of the best anime analyses that I've watched tbh.
You might not know this, but thank you for allowing me to give Aqours a chance. I used to hate them a lot, but after realising that they were more than just copying Muse, I shall watch the whole series. I had actually watched their movie and pretty much enjoyed it without myself realising. Thank you for reminding me of the first few animes I have watched that helped me create a better series. Also, thank you for making this video. The ZERO really hit me hard in the head and when I watched the video about not wanting to regret anymore, I literally cried. I feel that way all the time, and so I am glad someone helped me realise there IS an anime character whom I can relate to. I can't thank you enough, but thank you!

At first I didn’t know what to expect when I started watching the series, but bit by bit you fall in love with all the girls and the journey they are on. This series gives you nine characters that matter. And the best part is finding your “idol-sona” or “best girl”, we find ourselves in them and can connect on a deeper personal level. 💛
Once I found this video, I cried. Love Live has so many meanings in this and it’s truly amazing.
Symbolism in Love Live is some of my favorites there is in media, it's so beautiful and inspiring for me and this explains it perfectly.

Thank you for this video, now I realized the meaning of their songs are about dreams & words of encouragement not just for μ's & Aqours also to people who are giving up. Back then, I hate that due to their costumes but I realized the story plot is related in real life also to other people who wanted to pursue themselves inorder to make their dreams came true. I became a fan of them half of 2017-2019
