Thanks for the adorable shadow box! I made 8 of them to sell for Valentine's day. When I first saw it, I thought there was no way I could make it...you made it simple and easy to put together! I love them...and hopefully some happy shoppers will love them too! Thanks again for giving we CASE'rs beautiful projects to make and share. Love your stuff!
SO, SO bloomin' wonderful and sweet! Your video tutorial is awesome: so exact yet easy to follow. I'm making these for the holidays for sure. Thank you so, so much for all the efforts and time that goes into showing us the "how to's" in papercrafting.
Really cute treat box. I usually shy away from manual box making with lots of scoring and measuring. Your instructions are so simple. I must try this. Will be a great addition to my gift baskets. So, so pretty.
That's a great box, and I think it would also be a neat way to create a diy shadowbox for ephemera or quilled art, or paper arts/mixed media creations. I can see making it from embossed or stamped paper, too. Or even a picture frame! Thanks so much for the idea and instructions!
Maybe I've watched to many of your videos my lovely.... found myself shouting "you forgot the adhesive on the diagonal corners" haha! I do hope your cold is feeling a bit better. Much love xxSAMxx
You could probably cut the acetate at 4" instead of 4 and a quarter. This way you can get x3 belly bands in the one 3x3" acetate piece. It doesn't really look that bad.
Hi Mary! Great question! I am not sure, because I created it to fit Merci chocolates, so I haven't tried other candy. I typically create these shadow boxes to size, so if there is a specific candy you're interested in making a shadow box for, let me know and I can try to figure it out!
I am in Utah. Actually just behind Stamp Up headquarters. No it does me no good except I can go over and sit in the front room and soak in the creative air!! Lol. But my question is where do you get the Merci chocolates? I don't think I have ever seen them here in Utah. Can you order them online? If so can you give me a web site to check out? I just love this sweet little box ad would love to make them for family and sweet friends for Valentines.
Ooh! Headquarters is amazing! So I’ve found the Mercis at Target in the candy aisle near the Ferrero Rochers and Lindor Truffles. Otherwise I’m sure you can find them on Amazon!
