Åsa S: Well, they can try some of our "obscure" Xmas food such as Jansson's, pigs' feet, ribs (not the same as the texan BBQ one) and lutefisk (since they most likely have heard it from Frozen).
I don't personally know anyone who serves embutido during Christmas. I didn't even know it's usually served on Christmas. Bibingka or puto bumbong would've made more sense, in my opinion. 😊
I am from Mexico and we never eat that in Christmas. Maybe yes every night of the year, but never at Christmas
/I love the react but they could do a better investigation, I thought I was going to be the only one that was going to comment on that.
Did you seriously gave them a puta concha? lol, I was like "really"? of all the food we have in México you gave them something that we can eat everyday, not even a "christmas food" hahaha that was fun
I think Tamales are a more Christmassy food than Conchas, Conchas are more of a winter food rather than Christmas food (actually they're more of a any time of the year food, they're freaking delicious) Also I always thought Chocolate Atole was different from Champurrado, since you can actually find packets of Chocolate (also Strawberry) flavored Atole powder in stores, maybe I'm wrong?
I used to think like that about the atole, but it turns out (cuz I aksed) that champurrado is indeed just chocolate atole. And yeah, fricking conchas have as much to do with Christmas as water!! That's any day dinner, they could've chosen something else
In my family we eat roasted pork/duck or even goose. often served with caramelized potato, regular potato, chips , sauce (made from the meat) red cabbage. very delicious. and for dessert we get risalamande rice pudding with whipped cream. in the risalamade we hide a almond, and the one who gets it is the winner of the mandelgaven (almond present). The 25th or 26th (yes we celebrate christmas the 24th) we get herring, all kinds of other stuff. merry christmas from denmark
I never knew the United States didn't eat Bûche de Noël/Yule log... Yup, being Canadian I presume that our food is similar to the US. Guess I was wrong. HAH! We also eat Panettone during the holidays.
Epicman 11 That's mostly what I meant ^^. As in, the typical American family won't eat this on Christmas. I have no doubt some people have tried it since I'm pretty sure we don't keep the dish a secret to tourists and non-Canadians xD. But I was still surprised xD. Like... What DO Americans eat as a Christmas dessert then??
You should make them try pasteles en hoja, tamales, hayacas o ayacas, queque, cuchen and batón, these are all caribean food from diferent countries with similar recipe.
now im from Denmark and not sweden but harring goes on bread, in denmark it is quite common to have rye bread with butter, pickeled harring (in many warraities) topped of with onions (that was in the harring jar) and chopped boiled eggs.
Conchas and atole are not Christmas food! We eat them all the time, especially when is cold Romeritos, when u said mexican Christmas food, the first thing that comes to mind are romeritos Pleasee do you research right 😂
Lori Sanchez calm down, makings a big deal about it’s just not being Christmas food. Plus they said the conchas are eaten year round or something like that
Tamales, champurrado, capirotada, some time pozole , menudo ... they are many food that mexicans eat more commonly in Christmas, and conchas and atole are the less chrismasy food they could've picked 😂
Yeah, let's not fight over which one is the "true" Christmas food. Let's just say they picked basically the least Christamassy one xD It could be the middle of the summer and you would still eat damn conchas.

Why not Puto Bungbong and Bibingka this is also a Christmas Food in the Philippines. We eat this after attending the "Simbang Gabi" or "Misa de Gallo" paired with either Hot Chocolate or Coffee
i'm swedish, and kids i don't blame you for not liking the fish, i never eat that stuff. but honestly the biggest thing i think that's served on swedish christmas is ham and a lot of different small things that you can pick and choose from. the fish is just one of those things.
Sydney: I wouldn’t mind having this for Christmas. I’m looking at you Mum and grandma. 😂😂
Jazz crank she’s definitely my favorite

I’ve never had a concha for Christmas.
That's what they said foo
I'm Filipino and I don't consider Embutido as a christmas food. It is more like an everyday alternative to hot dogs
RANDOMGUY Same with some other foods... They kind of got some of these wrong.
Hahahahaha😂😂 It's Probably a tradition that we never knew 😂😂
Same with Conchas, I've never heard of someone eating them for Christmas, they are usually for breakfast
Same , Im pretty sure we mostly eat holiday ham
RANDOMGUY tama ka
Sydney is matured beyond her age, more like a teenager than a kid. Totally impressed with her
right? i love her, she's great!
I don't think she's like a teenager, more like a 30 year old.
Sweden got so much friking Christmas dishes it's insane. And you pick Herring.
yes we do, but idk if they were traditions that originated from sweden, since many of the dishes sweden has. you can also see in other countries

Everything you mentioned we eat it all year round... 😐
I miss the polls in these videos. It's more interesting.
I don't personally know anyone who serves embutido during Christmas. I didn't even know it's usually served on Christmas. Bibingka or puto bumbong would've made more sense, in my opinion. 😊
Me neither. I always thought it was an all-day meal you can have from breakfast to dinner.
I thought it would be puto bumbong too, but we have embutido for christmas in my family aha
I eat conchas year round. Tamales are the holiday food
ikr i got so mad seeing that

/I love the react but they could do a better investigation, I thought I was going to be the only one that was going to comment on that.

Menion same with ethanol which has corn in it
Do you straight up drink corn syrup? I wouldn't think so.

Wasn’t*
Did you seriously gave them a puta concha? lol, I was like "really"? of all the food we have in México you gave them something that we can eat everyday, not even a "christmas food" hahaha that was fun
You can find so many things on a Swedish Christmas table. But I guess you always narrow it down to the fish. #swedishfish
true my step dad is swedish and this is disappointing
Why embotido? You could've given them leche flan or halaya. Maybe hamonado or murcon. Please research more next time. Love the kids though. 👍
demeris07 i was hoping for puto bungbong tho .. it's sort of christmas only food .. lol
Adrian Valiente or puto sulot and bibinka
i cant wait until sydney is on teens react
Still a few years I think!
Conchas are not christmas food, they are an everyday food :P
And they are extremely good!!
I'm exited for tamales this year
Buche de Noël is a 80's recipe in french. I manage to bake one for last holidays.
Actually, it survives as frosted dessert, with icecream in it.
We do not eat embutido on Christmas
I think Tamales are a more Christmassy food than Conchas, Conchas are more of a winter food rather than Christmas food (actually they're more of a any time of the year food, they're freaking delicious)

I am from Uruguay and the Panettone and the French dessert are very common in my country
Is it just me, or does Tyler look like Pablo Escobar’s kid in “Narcos”
You should make them eat spanish/Andalusian food because in the USA when they hear Spanish they think Mexico. So they'll be surprised. 😄
I was expecting puto-bungbong ... 😂
Embutido isn’t a Christmas food it’s a fiesta food.
Maria Salvacion christmas is also a fiesta tbh
Pattycake ahhhmm maybe but it’s not. Different kind of celebration.

Yay Sweden! :D

Smørebrød isn't swedish though. And pickled herring isn't unique to Sweden.

Buñuelos and Champurrado are the traditional food for Christmas in Mexico.
Panettone is very popular in Brazil,as well.

You should try German Christmas foods
I never knew the United States didn't eat Bûche de Noël/Yule log... Yup, being Canadian I presume that our food is similar to the US. Guess I was wrong. HAH!
We also eat Panettone during the holidays.

Even though there's no snow in the Philippines, the party's and games continues
LUSSEBULLAR DÅ
Clorox Bleach JA PRECIS!!!!
Out of every amazing Swedish Christmas food...you choose PICKLED HERRING???
Är ju det godaste på hela julbordet 🤔
Eating it on it's own is also not a good idea. It should always go on Rye Bread, imo. (:
Would lutefisk have been better?
bästa är ju köttbullarna
the first dish they ate is from the phillipines? im a filipino myself and never ate one in christmas holidays i am so dissapointed
I’m happy that they add Philippines in their videos!!! Yieeepeeee
I'm glad they liked the embotido☺️
You should make them try pasteles en hoja, tamales, hayacas o ayacas, queque, cuchen and batón, these are all caribean food from diferent countries with similar recipe.
That is not mexican xmas food.
Embutido? Waduhek. We eat hamon and keso de bola on christmas. Smh

Keith Aureliano yeah
I was kinda hoping to see KFC on this list of holiday foods.
00:06 *YIPPE!*
The traditional Christmas food in Japan should be a hit with these kids 😏
now im from Denmark and not sweden but harring goes on bread, in denmark it is quite common to have rye bread with butter, pickeled harring (in many warraities) topped of with onions (that was in the harring jar) and chopped boiled eggs.
Touma Chan Yeah, we never eat it straight, but on bread. And it's not really a Christmas food either...
I hoped they served lechon or roasted pig for the Philippines. I’m from the Philippines and we don’t have embutido during Christmas.
Yep
You mean lechon i love lechon
Abigail Alfaro mabuhay and yes I like lechon the best th8ng to have at partys and stuff
@@Blank.457they spelled it right..
Conchas for Christmas? Really? Come on, everyone in Mexico eat conchas all over the year, it's not Christmas food at all.
Baphomevs Hexem True lol XD
That's true! We eat this everytime, every day of the year.
It’s Never The Same Without Lucas.
Anika Gregory no freaking kidding
I missed Lucas!
I expected bibingka or puto bumbong not embutido.
Atleast, nasarapan sila
i agree to you hara berina
"Puto"? Bruh I'm Mexican and that shit got me laughing.
@@nahbro5366 oh yeah im filipino i know little mexican language i know what puto means in mexican
aww! it should be "puto bumbong" from philippines, and not the embutido.. that would be better
Kids react to Filipino Christmas foods. Like Puto bumbong, Puto, Bibingka, etc.
SOY PUTO
Bruh in Mexico we eat pan de dulce in the morning not just Christmas
Ashley Santacruz I know we eat this almost everyday
Hahaha for real i eat conchas in the morning
Yep, same thoughts.
Ashley Santacruz ikr
Yeah I usually eat pan dulce in the mornings with chocolate milk
fun fact: that is not a mexican christmas food, that is an every day meal, you need to do some research guys, love ya
PUTO BUMBONG and BIBINGKA should be in the place of EMBUTIDO, since the latter can be found almost every season.
Was expecting that too. We dont usually have embotido though.
I did not know that Embutido is a Christmas food. Never tried that. Most common during Christmas season in PH is the Ham with honey sauce.
agree
Conchas and atole are not Christmas food! We eat them all the time, especially when is cold
Romeritos, when u said mexican Christmas food, the first thing that comes to mind are romeritos
Pleasee do you research right 😂
Excuse me but Xmas = Tamales and Champurrado, that's your usual menu throught all the Guadalupe-Reyes marathon xD

You guys forgot bunuelos, that is my all time favorite.
Have the Kids react to Disney Channel Shows from the 2000s on Do They Know It
Christian Salgado yassss
Omg yessss
conchas for Christmas??? oh hell no..what about buñuelos?!
Cieeeerto! Olvide los buñuelos y las hojuelas!
so champurrado in Mexico is different from champurrado in the Philippines(ours is also chocolate but with rice)
the concha and the atole is not a chrismas meal actually it is a daily food for almost every people in mexico, it is just bread
VectorGames When I saw that they referenced conchas as Christmas food, I was just like, "WTF". GRINGOS NO SABEN NADA

Atole and concha for christmas? WTF??? 😂 that's not mexican christmas food.
We always have Atole on Christmas on my house, Coconut Atole is my favorite. But yeah I was expecting Tamales or Pozole.
Or at least romeritos with ponche
For me it’s ussually tamales, ponche o atole.
In Mexico we eat atole and conchas all time, it's not a Christmas food 🙄
I know right! I was thinking the same, I thought they were gonna give the kids romeritos or bacalao.
I'm a simple person
when I see Sydney I click
The kids look so happy when they see the food look beautiful instead of looking strange or have weird smell ~ lol

buche de noël , thank you from france ^^ it is exactly what we eat for christmas every year. We can also have the same as an icecream ;p

We eat this in Belgium as well ! Often with crème fraîche instead of chocolate
We eat it in Louisiana too. Must be the Acadian influence
