I'm a proud grenadian. I thoroughly enjoyed your review and you are very factual. I laughed out loud at your comments about the roads and vehicle rentals. It's been said if one can drive in Grenada he/she can drive anywhere in the world. LOL. You're welcome ANYTIME you your family and friends. God bless you.
Great video, visited Grenada with my family 3 years ago and did many of the same activities across the main island as you. Hope to visit again some day and experience it again.
Thank-You! Thank-You so much Kyle for the amazing information about my little Island Grenada! You taught me many things about Grenada that I never knew. Please, forgive me: I am just a lay person, my friend! Your review about Grenada is very accurate, and professionally done!😀 beloved ones, and may His mercy always be good to each one of you in Jesus' name. Amen. Peace & love!
Really enjoyed and appreciated all you said the full Grenadian experience. I did tear my hair out deciding which island to see from NYC. I don’t know if or how you offer a tip where to stay. I was looking for a smaller hotel, on a beach with calm ( like Neil, Jamaica. Heaven), warm waters. I have a reservation on La Sagrette but I fear it’s minimal facilities. Doesn’t even have a hammock. No way no hammock. I could go on ( close enough to food/ restaurant where we don’t have to be dependent on our hotel. Clearly you can’t always get what you want. Hopefully, we can get what we need. Thanks so much for your video. Gail
Hi! Thanks for your review of Grenada ! My boyfriend and I are going with a group of friends this coming Sunday ☺️ we're so excited and will have to check out the places you mentioned!
Great video, Grenada is absolutely beautiful! I have spent 4 months over a 2 year period and have made life long friends! I love the Grenadian people! Go visit the lightship and watch Sabrina Francis . This is located at Le Phare Bleu.
Thanks for the great review. Two points, there are PLENTY of places to stay on the main island of Grenada from luxury hotels to renting a room through Air BnB! There are mostly British tourists because it was once a British Colony, we gained independence in 1974.
Thank you for your comment. I wasn't trying to imply that there aren't enough places to stay but rather it's not overdeveloped and there are no high-rise hotels lining the beach like many islands.
Would love to see a similar video about the island Dominica, which interests me based on your "Which Caribbean Island Should You Visit?" video and a little other research I did. The absence of cruise ships appeals. I prefer to stay a week or more (and scuba dive) and not be greeted like a cruise ship day tripper. Sadly, cruise ships ruined the once genteel vibe of my former favorite Cozumel, to which I will never return. Culture, history and affordability are more important to me than beaches. Again, I love your channel!
I got robbed in Dominica last year. It was sad. But I’m excited to check out Grenada ! Looking for a place to live and start a food forest farm. In Dominica the government is so corrupt I hope Grenada is different. Bc the Dominica people were suffering with poverty :(
Bob Weber Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you found the information useful. I absolutely love Grenada and I'm sure you will too. Especially in winter!
corky dog I appreciate the comment. It will be interesting to see how this year's hurricane season will affect tourism to islands not affected (like Grenada). I'm sure people canceled trips to Puerto Rico, USVI, Barbuda and Dominica and booked trips to other islands.
Hopefully they won't all descend on Grenada, although I know Feb is high season. We have booked our Airbnb stays though, so that's something sorted. We are big walkers so looking forward to catching buses and going on long walks away from the main beach areas. Thx again for your informative video.
Very informative and thorough ! We are seriously considering moving to Grenada and you provided pertinent info to help us with our process. Thanks, Peace
Sorry for the late reply. I didn't get a notification for the comment like I normally do. But thank you for your comment and yes it's a wonderful place to visit! And with no language barrier it's easier to get around than the French or Spanish speaking islands.
When my wife and I were there, at no point did we feel there was any cause for concern from a safety standpoint, and we did a lot of walking at night in areas with few people. But we're also from the US, so anyplace other than Syria or Yemen will seem safe to us! The Caribbean in general can get a bad rap for high crime, but Grenada isn't one of the countries that leads to that reputation. It's certainly not Jamaica, St. Martin or Martinique when it comes to crime. But solo female travelers should always be a little more aware of their surroundings than men or people in groups. But if you're traveling solo in the Caribbean, Grenada is one of the safer countries.
Hi, Just a thought I think that Grenada was at one time part of British jurisdiction and that is why there are a few more Brits than you would expect. If my history is correct did you guys(US) at one time have a stroll along the beach recently . Just a thought ,please correct me if I am wrong
Grenada was under British control for a long time (until the 1970s). I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "stroll along the beach recently", but the US did invade Grenada in 1983. Unfortunately to this day most Americans that have heard of Grenada only know it for that.
People may think we're independent but when 'push come to shove' the queen still have a say our present government is trying to get us separated from england but we don't trust him like that
Grenada today has alot of hotels and guests houses and there is beachs around the island not only to the south of the island we have a lot of other stuff u can do. Grenada is not as wack as you make it sound.
Nella McQueen I didn’t get the sense that he was trying to make us sound wack at all from this video. He gave us a pretty in depth review based on the time he visited the island. Might be different if he visited say in August..🇬🇩
Hey, there wasn't much people around that time you went because people don't really go to the beach around December time due to the tide being high and the sea being rough most times. There are loads as of places to stay in Grenada. You can even stay at a stranger's place and be treated like a king or queen. Thanks for the review and you should come back around February, June, July and August.
I guess being from California I didn't really think the sea was rough. I'm so used to choppy waves. I didn't word the part about not having many places to stay very well. I didn't mean to imply that there aren't enough places to stay, but that it's not all-inclusive resorts and mega hotels like many of the Islands have. I prefer the smaller places and guesthouses that you find on Grenada. And we would definitely love to go back!
CaribbeanBabyLiyah I'm coming for carnival this year. Where should stay? Is it St. Georges, closest to the capital, what part? Can you circle the region on an image of a map? Can you give me landmarks on where to stay? Or point me to an Air B&B or Hotel? Help I need a Grenadian friend.....😳
Natasha Richards-Watts St. George’s is the capital, but not sure if you will find anywhere to stay if you haven’t already booked accommodations. Places to stay are fully booked or the ones that are available are super expensive. If you don’t mind staying in the country area of the island, in particular the Parish of St. Mark’s, there is a small hotel called Sunset Plaza Apartments that might be of interest to you. Look for them on Airbnb. Good luck and have a safe an enjoyable carnival season! 🇬🇩
Awe! This was a heartfelt review. My parents are from Carriacou, I am Canadian. Grenada is a true gem- luv it everytime I go! ❤
Fantastic bless up
Hi enjoyed your review on both Carriacou and Grenada spent my time growing up on both island ,but now I live in Brooklyn. Just imagine 🙂🇬🇩🇬🇩

Great insights to Grenada, especially for me, a prospective visitor. Accommodation aspects would have been even more awesome, but it's still a winner.

My family and I are going to be there son ( December 2019 ). And this video it's a confirmation we did the right choice.
Have a great trip! It'll be hard not to.
Enjoyed your video and found it helpful for our first visit to Grenada next week. Flying out from the UK.
Bob Weber Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you found the information useful. I absolutely love Grenada and I'm sure you will too. Especially in winter!
Really enjoyed your video. We are visiting Grenada in Feb, and found your video very informative. Thanks

Sounds like a great trip. I'd love to sail around the islands myself but I get super seasick.
Nice informative video. I wonder how you would compare Grenada to St. Lucia ?
That Mr Bungle LP brings me back.... so cool bro. :)
You sold me!
sounds like a accurate pure Grenadian visit remember don't be a tourist be a traveler.
Very helpful! Thank you very much!!
you should visit in august in carnival and reggae this season is hot or in june or july
xoxo shakira I'm coming for carnival. Can you share some pointers?
Great video! Sounds like a wonderful place to visit and the language is English!
Sorry for the late reply. I didn't get a notification for the comment like I normally do. But thank you for your comment and yes it's a wonderful place to visit! And with no language barrier it's easier to get around than the French or Spanish speaking islands.
What about traveling to the island alone?... (Female traveler). Safe to visit?? 🙃

Shout out for Mr. Bungle 🤟
You should of come in grenville
Hey Guy,,,You need to go and visit ST KITTS and NEVIS too in the Caribbean...
Merlyn Saunders I'd love to go to St. Kitts. It's one of our top choices for our next trip to the Caribbean.
Grenada is located in the Caribbean
St Andrews is the biggest not st Georges
Grenada has mountains
If you visit twice and rent a car twice, you actually earn your Grenadian driver's license.
Hey am a Grenadian and am not agreeing with you on some points.
I am or I'm
Sme
Grenada is a small country
"No litter anywhere" my guy where did you go? Lol. Oh and try saying sour s'up.
We really don't have much compared to others.
