    1. Tame down the Amygdala
    2. Change the memories/narrative you tell about yourself
    3. Talk about it with a therapist.
Funny enough I did kind of do that with in my therapy journey and it did help big time with my Anxiety

I swear this is the internet's best kept secret. I can see you having Wendigoon on to explain Christian theology. I think y'all's vibe would mesh well

fascinating how it's more & more evident that anxiety is a human condition but our current state of anxiety is just a side effect of overstimulation

The original exorcist movie flashed subliminal images of deceased people in real life to add that element. If anyone is looking for a large scale example. Maybe that’s so many people growing up when that movie was popular say it’s scariest movie they ever saw. Not necessarily because of the story but the subliminal photography used elicited that response and they all then created a more extreme narrative. I think those images were altered in later production versions

I am autistic. I do prever to say that rather than I have autisem cuz its something that can't be separeted from my symptom wise as other conditions might be. But I don't identivie as just this or that. I am sort of distant to any fixed identitie and I encoubtered many other autisitc ppl who feel the same.
I percive myself as a something/someone that is very fluid and inhabits a body that functions and influnces me and vis versa and Identities are more like rolls I can adapbt to or not. And then there are things that bring me joy and things that don't.
Trauma plays a big roll here too.
