Just another day of Oga roasting Holostars. Lol Winning son's situation was so funny I choked laughing and in Shien's case, I can kinda agree with his mafia subordinates. But in all seriousness, I do understand what Oga meant by not getting married yet, despite the pressure from people around you. It was really insightful and quite deep seeing his point of view.

From what I've heard from JP folks, it sometimes seems more like an expectation than a personal decision that you marry as soon as you can...even if you're not confident in the relationship you're in..

@@acekurimuholoclipper9025 also there is the reason for "i don't want to die alone" that many have apparently and thats probably one of the worst reasons to find a person to marry. because its solely for your own comfort and not for the person you are marrying

If any holostars members got married, i'm definitely gonna cheer for them, plus we able to tease these bois more like how the seiyuu community tease people that are married( suzuken, natsuki hanae and kaji yuki mainly lol). And if their partner is other vtuber/seiyuu etc then even better, as long as they are happy with their then i'm also happy for them(also crap i need to get married soon, or else i might be single 20s for life 🥲).

a quarter of the entire seiyuu fan experience is people teasing the married ones and the married ones, who are confident enough, terrorize those who aren't married yet (case in point being onoken and hanae with eguchi lol). I'd love that for not just Holostars, but vtubers in general!
as for marriage qualifications, I think based on the stories we do hear from seiyuus about their other half, if anyone does get married to them-they're probably going to be just as crazy lmaoo

@@acekurimuholoclipper9025 no I think it just him did not talk about them, nothing special. I mean there were time they went to a same dance class for 6 hours a day, there is no way he interacts more with HoloID girls than Holostars.
Oddly enough, this is exactly what I needed to hear rn. I accidentally popped in to check Facebook on Daughters Day and saw that nearly every one of my friends from high school is married and has kids now.... I was horrified and started to wonder if maybe there was something wrong with me, people have even made comments about me being single and I've started to get really stressed LOL thank you for translating 🙏
I usually don’t like talking to ppl online but this comment stuck out to me. I was in the same situation too (ppl from home town married young) and I was starting to feel weird because I was pretty much the only single person from my high school. Then as time went on, I realized I had more to my life than being married and having kids. While I now do have someone I’ve been trying to plan a wedding with (pandemic delays!), we are glad we didn’t rush into it.
It sort of helped too that a lot of my former hs classmates are now on their 2nd and 3rd marriages already (we’re all well under 40 and some of us not yet 30). There are different ways to define a “successful” life and marriage and kids don’t always have to be part of that definition. :)

I decided to go back to school and then the pandemic hit and like.. it feels like that made everything feel much much worse haha yeah there's a lot to do in life and people making it seem like having a spouse and kids as the only measurements for success is really rough. Well human is social creature and live in society. The general norm in society where we born and live in will definitely influence our mindset.
Human often feel insecure about difference too.
That’s why if you live in environment where the general norm is to get married, let’s say, before 30’s, you will be seen as strange if you are single in your 30’s, or you will start to feel insecure to be single in your late 20’s. The pressure comes either from your inner self, or worst from people around you.
But thing I realized, is that, a marriage is not a goal of our life cycle. Instead, marriage is a start of a new stage in life. It is thorny paths that can lead either to ultimate happiness or your worst nightmare.
Some people might tell us to just go through it and we will make it somehow. But each individual is built different, everyone has different endurance in taking hits. There is person who would collapse from a single punch in the face, but there is other who could still standing after taking meteor shower.
There is nothing wrong in being careful and getting prepared for what might worst to come. Don’t rush into marriage because you feel intimidated by people around you. If thing turns wrong, no guarantee those people would be there to help you and you can’t sue them for that neither.

I think the true issue is that the poor soul that is blessed to marry our Winning Son would have to be to our standards and probably won’t fit at all. Especially if she has to go potty.
It would be nice to support them even if they're married. I don't get why there are people who are against it but they are human too. Besides it'll be fun teasing their married life.
