I just bought Kingmaker with the steam summer sale, and the background has just made me more excited to play it.
Oh. Great segment today, but the end with Dan and Pathfinder Friday leaving is a real bummer. This show has been great, and even though I haven't been able to keep up with it in real time, I wanted to say how much I've really enjoyed it. I really hope that we will be seeing more of Dan and Pathfinder in the future.
Never played Kingmaker and feared that this episode would be a cheesy half an hour "go check that crowdfunding campaign out"-thing. But quite the opposite, it was very interesting and enjoyable. My group will stick to first edition for the foreseeable future and we have to finish our homebrew campaign first, but then I am very intrigued to have a closer look into the original Kingmaker for First Edition and our first step into Golarion :-) Will miss the Pathfinder Fridays and you Dan, even when I barley knew you! I've found that Frixion erasable pens do actually work. The old sort don't work well at all.

I think the overarching villain thing is more of a, different groups of people had different opinions on it, I was happier with there NOT being one but you know sure the people who want one can have that too.
please remove the dam character level cap. That was great about BG2.
I've been through kingmaker. Don't update it for 2e. There's enough there to play through it by changing out encounters , npcs etc. It doesn't need updating. I'm time this will be Temple Of Elemental Evil.
