    The brakes won't heat up because when you get used to it and drive it properly, you'll rarely ever use them.

    this is a good video to watch as where i work i most likely will be getting to use a Kramer for the first time tomorrow (friday). i work for a fertiliser company and i usually use a 8tonne linde forklift but recently this year my boss (who can train drivers) has been letting me use the Manitou's we usually have. but as we are short staffed tomorrow i got the choice of the linde which is not good at stacking 6 bags or the Kramer which i not used before so would be in the deep end but it would let me stack 6 bags (600kg bags) at a time to keep up with the line as the boss wants the Manitou so he can load trucks, he doesnt like the Kramer.
    we also have a JCB 560.80 i think it is for loading the hoppers as its seems the best, but the usual guy that drives the Kramer does load the hoppers from time to time as well as shunt the fertiliser when a ship comes in and tractos fill the bays. the guy that usually uses the Kramer likes it, finds the rear view camera useful and the thing is just as good as a Manitou. some guys prefer the Manitou for loading trucks as the suspension is softer, apparently. i will see how things go tomorrow lol

    If your pre emissions control with your 9m. Spend the money and fix it up. As blue and DPF is just a nightmare

    So if you look at three year value what is residual? What are spares costs? Service liabilities? If you trade to a current jcb where would you be? Much of this relates to the deal you do and the comfort you feel in use. So the argument sorry the discussion is a family one to a degree.

    Joe you’ll get used to driving it with out using the brake pedal we have a schaffer with the same transmission and very rarely use the brake pedal, far nicer just using the accelerator pedal to drive.

    As much as I hate to say it, That is a far nicer machine than the JCB. I used to operate a Class Scorpion 5030 which is virtually the same machine. Good bit of kit.

  • @erkkikekkonen433
    @erkkikekkonen433 Рік тому

    In my experience Kramer is a well built machine although some of the components I think feel a bit cheap. Like its built in Germany but more in the eastern part if you get what I mean. I have run various Kramer compact shovels and the main draw back in my opinion is the on road and towing performance. In the 480 loader I often operate you always run out of traction before power in low speed situations like taking a scoop out of gravel pile as an example but when you take it on the road it will never reach its claimed 40 km/h top speed unless going empty or downhill. It even says in the operators manual the machine will not reach its top speed unless in hard level ground and empty. This comes down to the way power is transmitted from the engine via oil to the transmission. Again I don't know if they have done things differently with their telehandlers. Other thing I don't like about like about most Kramer loaders is the lack of instrumentation but the have probably fixed that with that screen (as our 50 series loaders we don't even have a water temp gauge). Other than those thing they can withstand quite a lot of use and abuse at least in my experience.

    Won't kramer have some sort of heath shield available for those exposed breaks? A machine that size will be used for straw stacking in Germany too right?

    • @fendt5163

    Brakes on the outside do still get hot when in road use especially merlos are known for setting the brakes on fire if you like the krammer try the new jcb they are far superior over the model like yours and I feel are better than krammer
