Hi Matt, Great idea for those of us who don't already have a pay system for clients. How about after someone makes a payment, a small pop up appears so the customer can rate their service or product, like a 1-5 star rating before they leave, or a discount coupon to get the payer to come back for another service in the future?
Last comment (for now anyway!)... I think you've tapped into something that's going to build your biz even more... By crowd brainstorming as you're doing with this new tool, your checking a lot if boxes ref marketing... Plus likely a better result when it comes to what this app will do... Kudos to you, Matthew... Three suggestions: Make sure you add in an option to set sales tax, so if it is a business that is required to pay sales tax, they can one-time enter the sales tax amount and it is automatically added to the sales price. Also, you might want to consider adding an option for a tip. Some people like to tip. So you might have an option that gives the seller a say 10% 15% 20% tip where buyer can simply click the desired tip and it is automatically added to total. Finally, you want to add an option that let's seller automatically add a tip to each sale. Many restaurants do this and they notify customers that a standard tip is already included.
Hi Jay! Yes I am looking into both of these options. Within Europe VAT can get a bit complex, but there are systems we can integrated that will automatically calculate vat based on buyers location. We will have something here for this. Also for the tip, lots of interest there so I am going to see what we can do.
Looks good, however, there would need to be some sort of reference field for the transaction: INVOICE NUMBER etc passed to Stripe so the customer and vendor gets receipt identifying the transaction.
Yes Dail, there will options to add both a default title as well as a custom title and description for the payments. Possibly also a side menu with quick pick products/services that can be selected.
It'd be good to be able to also place the QR code on the sales page to use the same process... Buyers could scan and pay direct via their phone... Same scenario as a restaurant except no food involved... Multifunctional tool then...One standard price they'd pay for the product or service so the QR code could be generic... 🤔🤔🤔
Awesome Idea Matt! This would be a great foot in the door tool to use to talk business with clients and new prospects. Agency use would be great or even WL. Having sold merchant accounts for several years, this would be a game changer for many business and help eliminate the 3-4% merchant charge, equipment rental or purchases.
I've been in the "Flooring" business all my life. Installing floors of all types. I like to get paid immediately when I'm done with the installation. This would be perfect
Matt, This is a great idea. So, with this method, the customer decides what payment option they want to use. Where does the payment go? I would like to have the option to select the one payment method I want them to use as well. I like to use payment solutions that do not allow the customer to reverse their payment if they received the product and then decide they don't want to pay. This happened to my daughter once. She made a cake for someone and met the person to hand it off. The hand-off was flawless and the customer was satisfied before she paid. The customer got in her, put the cake in the back Without securing it. She apparently made a sharp turn on her way to her destination and the cake fell. The customer was mad and reversed the money she had paid my daughter for making that cake when my daughter did nothing to cause the cake catastrophe. I personally prefer Paypal for all of my payments because they will see that the seller gets their money if anything like this should occur happened.
Hi Alex! The payment method(s) would be up to the seller. If multiple, the buyer would have the option to choose out of those methods. As an example, when I sell using Stripe, I have a number of options active for the buyer to choose from, including credit card and Apple Pay. Regarding the cake situation, there should possibly be some terms that could be supported via processor... and from what I'm hearing the customer should have paid for the cake!
yes, she should have. She paid using Cash App and simply canceled the transaction within an hour of getting the cake. My daughter was devastated as this was her first venture, but she learned. After taking 2 years to regroup, she now does the same business, But has each customer sign a release form, releasing her from any liability once they take possession of the product. This makes it easier to prosecute if need be.

What about extra Box for Custom tip in Restaurants.
Looks like a popular request here, I'm looking into and we'll see what we can do!

Absolutely!
I am in, also add the notification by email, so if it was on my employee's phone, I get a notification every time a sale is made.
Hey! That would be a good option to have. Lets see how we go!
I Love It...
Thanks Randy!
Looks good!
Thanks Terence!

That is exactly the type of situation should resolve!
Maybe your upsell will be a review option as well as a tip or booking / delivery option?
Hey Rick, looking into both of these. Lets see how we go!

Can we send via WhatsApp the QR code if closing remotely?
Hey Dave Yes! I've noted this and let's see what options we can find here.
It will Works for resturants in Eu when you could Combine it With your Lexware or any other tax and Accounting Software maybe over Zapier
Yes... I am looking at including a user API which will enable you integrate it with Zapier tools also.
Can you make it so I can snap shot and send the snap to another phone they click on the image and the QR code allows them to make the pmt?
Yes Mark, that should not be a problem and I can see there would be a case for it.
Hi Matt. Would be great to generate a receipt for the customer.
Yes, lets see if we can include this.
In the country where I live this already exists and everybody uses it😊
Maybe that's where Matt got the inspiration from.
Great to hear!
Hey Matt, can it only take up to 100
The $100 limit was just in the demo using the sliders, there won't be any cap on payment size.
I think it will have a redirection to the thank you page or receipt download
Yes!
