@@mtbnorthwestengland does look really good !. Looks like prime conditions when you did it. When mark hall did it , it looked like a right grot hole. I’m guessing it wasn’t recent when you did it ?, looks bone dry
@@tastytechaddictsmtb I'm catching up with edits from the last few months so not recent and it is probably relatively off limits until spring. I can be there in an hour so no real issue for me if it's a bogfest but you guys travelling a distance would save it for the drier seasons
The amount of times you find confused walkers on moor steeze, some of those trails you can't even walk up e.g. at 10.46, the thing with Ilkley moor is that you always need to be wary of people that can't tell the difference between an mtb trail and a path. That's a blind corner after a crest and once saw a guy leading his kids up there, probably around 6 years old so would probably hit them if going over the crest just beyond where the walkers are stood.
That's because there is no difference between a 'mtb trail' and a path. We ride the paths, the walkers walk the trails - it's just an open access moor land so you kind of have to expect all and sundry (and their kids and dogs) round any corner.
😎 track and riding
Cheers mate, was a good day out 👍🏼
This has been on the prospective rides list for a while, need to get something sorted !
It's a good venue, better in the dry

Yeah it's a bit like me, I can't tell the difference between a MTB trail, bridleway or footpath, easily done 🤣

If you pedal you go faster
Especially when you go uphill 😆
