  • I met Mallory when my friend Lesley and I went to her soy candle making workshop in her Berlin store called Lit Lab. We left with soy candles that made our homes smell amazing as well as new knowledge about Mallory's craft and business. She creates the candles' concrete vessels herself - by hand. Not only do they look pretty, but they also help her make her products more sustainable too. Once you run out of your candle, you can come back for a refill for just a minimal fee with the option to choose a different scent.
You can find Lit Lab inside one of my favourite courtyards in the city - Heckmann Höfe! Here are the details:
Oranienburger Str. 32, 10117 Berlin, Germany
Open every day except Tuesdays from 1200-1800. Sundays, from 1400-1700.

Sadly, no. :) Unless you want to pay for the difference between the fares, of course!
