My favorite sound-design library of 2023 so far! Mats Lundgren and Amina Hocine (Pole Position) collaborate with Sonuscore for a granular treat. I would go so far as to say with just the pulses instruments alone, this one is worth the asking price for anyone creating gritty, edgy, or ethereal underscore. So playable, these unique atmospheres have a clarity and sonic focus that is so often clouded in similar layered engine instruments. Two thumbs up!
Nordic Spheres normally sells for $199.00 from Sonuscore : bit.ly/3mMroWO

Wow - Amazing depth to the presets - Cold but full and rich too - Instant inspiration! I expect a lot from Sonuscore (I just love The Orchestra and Elysion) and they deliver! Way up on my list!

Sounds great! Many very cool presets indeed. I especially love the one at 8:36! Very creepy cool! ...BUT!
I find it quite expensive though, like most Sonuscore libraries. For 200 bucks, I could get 2000 patches for Omnisphere with their Undercurrent Expension alone, which is $149. Or maybe two Heavyocity Mosaic libraries on intro price for $99 each. But when it will be on a big discount, for sure I would be interested to grab it, mayb on black friday...

Nice sounds but a bit expensive in my opinion (even with the discounted intro price)

Does it require Kontact 7 Player, I have 6 installed and bought and instaleld Nordic Spheres, but no sound all. All my other Kontact Instruments from Kontakt Komplete 13 work just fine. What gives, usually for most instruments I have to change the output settings to Omni, doesn't work with this. What should I do?

Kinda like a refresh of the UI for Elysion type of offering and new sounds as well. In fact it would be great to see Elysion UI look like this. This library sounds great, although I don't hear Nordic per sey. Not sure why they pigeon holed it for that. Sonuscore always has great stuff. If I needed something like this I'd wait for a better sale. Half price or better and I could bite.

I would rather buy 20 rigid audio libraries at $5 a piece and sculpt my own. you must be on big commission.

As good as it sounds, no serious composers use libraries like that. Because everyone else will be. You will never hear this in any serious production like a movie. Sorry, but that's just what it is. I see no real customization options here either. So, I ask again, what's the point in all these Kontakt-based collections of loops? To hold a key and sound like a synth genius? Thousands of others are going to sound just like you when they buy this.
The same goes for other distinct libraries, like Olafur Arnalds ones. No matter what you do, you will sound like an old-style Olafur wannabe. Everybody knows his sound. It just raises the eyebrows: "Wait, is this Olafur?" No, it's just one of the guys who bought Stratus and held 3 long chords in his DAW.

HI Uw - sorry i didnt get into the customization. I hear tons of out-of-the-box presets in scores all the time. I know dozens of composers for TV, film and games that use sample libraries and I have scored commercials and trailers myself with sample libraries. I hop we can agree to disagree on this particular matter

I don't agree. Many composers for tv (in this case, video games ?) use these kind of libraries. They blend really well with strings or else. You obviously have to be a little bit smart about how to use them "discretely", but they do the trick.. greately ;)

Buying Olafurs' library we give energy to him. So we are not Full authors of Music anymore because we dont make our own texture. We are then Arnalds' right hand, not our own Music world.
