Liz is absolutely incredible, but I dont think this song was well suited for her. I've had sheeran’s collab with bocelli on my playlist for years and i cant help making the comparison (as unfair as i know it is to make btw a karaoke and professional studio recording)
Her voice is too powerful. She’s better suited for belting. I have no doubt she can sing this song perfectly with softer vocals, but I think it’s just her style to interject bits of flair into the song.
@@BastardWithExtraLives Nobody’s saying she isn’t. But certain voices are suited for certain types of songs. Like MJ is a great singer, but doing a death metal growl wouldn’t suit his vocal style. ERB’s voice is better suited for power ballads and songs where the singer can really let loose, that’s all.

It's still an incredible performance even if her voice isn't quite matched to this type of song.
