Hi Nathan! T hese are super helpful! I just had a question. On the last quarter of the circle I feel my left hand is too late on lifting off and regrasping the mushroom and always gets in the way of my legs. Is there anyway to help fix this? I definitely try to go faster and think going around rather than just throwing myself across but nothing has worked and it's so frustrating because the first half is effortless. Thank you!! 💪🏼
Hey, thanks for your question. Not super helpful I know - but it sounds like you just need more practice. If you can lift and replace your right hand correctly you should be able to do it with your left as it's exactly the same movement, so I'm struggling to visualise the cause of the problem from your description. My best advice is to treat each half of the circle as the same, and simply get more repetition in so your body can learn the movement! Good luck!
Hello !!! i go to the gym a lot and love different exercises, i willtry to build a mushroom for this kind of exercises, what can i expect about gains? how many time ? how many turns? i really love doing overall exercises, thanks for the video!!
This is more of a skill based exercise rather than an exercise which is used to improve fitness, but once you are able to do bigger numbers you should feel strain on the core and the triceps for sure. There is no set numbers for reps and sets but my advice would be roughly 10 sets of as many circles as you can; after that your arms will start to fatigue. Have fun!
Yeah that sucks but don't let that stop you; you just have to get a bit creative. There are tutorials on line for people who have made their own mushroom, that might be something you want to consider. If not, it is possible to work these exercises on the floor (albeit much more difficult), you could even do it on a well shaped, smooth boulder or something similar. If you really want to learn you will find a way :)
order one from somewhere like the USA. they are a little pricey but it is worth it. just to warn you, circles are very, very hard. I've been a gymnast for 4 years and can still only do 1 and a half circles maximum
Thank you! If you are not ready for the mushroom, what exercises should you do? Only the hollow body supports? Any other exercise?
Thank you for this video. You did an excellent job.
