She was in 9th standard while shooting this movie it means she was 14 that's why she looks younger but ig in movie they are trying it to show that phool was 16 and deepak was 18 or something like that because its a village setting in 2001 and thats my logical assumption
remember the villages are now very developed, so much so that amazon delivers in villages. this movie is based in 2001, so you can see the old phones and underdeveloped villages and ignorant people.
Oh I did not know that villages have come so far. It has been 2007 since I have been to a village. That is why at the start they made it so important that it was 2001.
The actor playing the character of police officer is Ravi Kishan, he is memeber of parliament He was the same guy who played totla tiwari assistant in phir hera pheri
Just watched "Laapataa ladies". The movie is Simply Superb. The scene between Deepak & Phool in the farm just took it to the next level. He is so vulnerable in that scene and yet he goes ahead with it. The Overall narrative & storyline is so good. This movie is much much better than the big budget South Indian movies and their remakes which have no sense in them - just big loud music, over the top action & tons of over acting. No nuance at all. It is high time that audiences start valuing & supporting quality cinema over big budget loud movies with over the top acting.
@@ChaatNChat I guess it's ok to do so if you are watching a Hindi movie. But i suggest you stick to English for other regional cinema reactions like Malayalam Tamil kannada and all as it might offend a lot of the respective demographics. This movie shows early 20's when mobile phones were just arrived in Indian Villages..... For your kind information there is still dowry system in Indian Villages....
Request you to react to the movie "Lakshya". It is a beautiful movie. It is based on the Kargil war, though the specific storyline may be fictional. The Kargil war actually happened and you can watch the actual footage of the war on youtube as a part of actual news coverage. The acting is good and the Music and the Background score is Extremely good. Plus, it is based on True Events(Not a true story). The acting in this movie is simply Fabulous.
I can understand why this movie failed so badly in cinemas😂😂. They're showing what should've been shown in 2004. Zen G and millennial ladies will get offended. 😂 And women in different religion still do Veil but they do it by choice. And all women have now android or I phones. 40% of India's total population use Smart Phones and others use cell phones. So they would just contact their hubbies. So it's not a surprise that women folk couldn't relate to this film.
@@ChaatNChat Suggestion for you all time hit comedy movie like hera pheri - Malamaal weekly, hulchul, madgaon express, chennai express, dhamaal 🔥,double dhamaal, total dhamaal, chup chup ke😁
This is not the true representation on our indian village, as i am from a small village from Rajasthan and this series making fun of all of villagers like stereotyping everyone. Any situation in this movie cannot be in real life in that era too. Shameful act by Bollywood. Panchayat is pretty close but this not at all.

@famwhatever, wow! You're such a juvenile. The video is a reaction video. You want a quiet watch, get a subscription and watch in a corner of your house. By the way, most folks can walk and chew at the same time. If you can't, get off the net and start working on your motor skills. Such a weirdo!
Many people liked this film but I couldn't connect to the way this film has been shot. Also I felt Phool could have gone back to her own home even if she didn't know her husband's address.
I think you don't actually know village life. That's why you could not connect. I was posted for my job in railways in a small town in the middle of nowhere. The railway station was the major attraction. I had made friendships with people hawkers sellers. And I still fondly Remeber it. Looking back now it was a mix of Ruskin bond and Munshi Premchand vibe
Well she did say why she couldn't go home.. it was a story from 2001 nd trust me I've still seen ppl judging a newly wed bride go home alone without the husband within a week of the wedding even with an intention to just pickup few stuff from her house! Not trying to reason out the to make you connect to it! Just saying as stupid as sounds it was still justified from her part!
This film represents the 20s when there was less connectivity as you can see mobile phones had just arrived at that time.btw love your reactions ❤😂

Normally couples take leave from the girl's house in their wedding attire. Thats why they left Phool's home wearing the wedding dress.
