Just bought the LGV60 and I agree the battery life of this device is amazing. Streaming Quboz in hi-res , 50% brightness, 50-60% volume I get all day and night (2x) battery life. Use for youtube and blueettoth I get about 20+ hrs
Congratulations on the sale. I know I speak for everyone here in saying that I was extremely eager to hear how the sale was going and that you had, in fact, managed to sell it. Well done and thank you for the video to update us all.
Having my fiio m23 for some days now and the volume buttons work fine - sure you have to push them a bit harder because of the swipeing volume feature but all fine now - the v60 would be cheaper but its way to big to carry around and „only“ delivers 600mw if I‘m right - and I really want the 4,4mm balanced jack for my Focal headphones
They don't work fine for me, they don't work/work poorly, as demonstrated. Barely functional volume buttons on a £650 device is poor and shouldn't be defended. It is the worst of any DAP I have used. We all have our own requirements and if the M23 meets yours then great.
LG V60 remains unapproachable in terms of battery life for a DAP. I saw 70hrs just letting it play (ie screen off, airplane mode). On balsnce favorite phone Ive owned.
You really may want to strongly consider the ibasso dx180 ..not feeling too good on the M23 think it needed more time to bake..either way I hope it all works out for you.
The M23 sounds good but the volume issue/design is an issue. The battery life on the DX180 isn't enough. The M23 has worse battery life but it has a desktop mode so I can plug it in and not degrade the battery. The ibasso DAPs do not have that function. This is why I got the M23 over the DX260.
@@bodythetan No, I use it exactly the same, as a DAP. Same as i used the Hiby R6 Pro II. I always say about these larger devices that I exclusively use them in doors. I listen to the M23 either in bed or on my sofa and whilst doing that it can be plugged in. You can't do that with the DX180 without fucking the battery up on it and it doesn't have good battery life, like the Sony. My use case is not your use case.

@@PerputuallyCensored so not using it untethered like a DAP then. Ok, battery will be great then, but it also mostly defeats the point.
