I love this concept so much, but I do have to ask: if you’re doing business in a country not native to the seeds embedded in the card, and then the client decides to plant the card in the ground, wouldn’t that risk an invasive species problem when the plant grows? I don’t want to discredit the idea, I think it’s fantastic in so many ways, I’m just mostly concerned, and curious.
That’s a great question, and we’re glad you asked! We get this question a lot, and it’s the difference between non-native and invasive species. Non-native species have either a neutral or positive effect where they're planted, while invasive species have a negative effect. None of the seeds that we use in our seed paper are invasive, so while the seeds may be non-native to the area, they will have a positive impact once they are planted! We are also approved for safe planting worldwide to all of the countries we ship our seed paper. We are accredited in the Canadian Phytosanitary Certification Program for Seeds (CPCPS) and are registered as a U.S. Exporter in the program. This means we ensure that the seeds brought into our facility are tested for purity by a CFIA or AOSA (Association of Official Seed Analysts) accredited seed testing laboratory. We hope this addresses your concern, and thank you for reaching out.
Hey we generally gives business cards, for sharing our company and contact details.. but if the same is planted, how the person will contact us in near future 😅
Hey there! Luckily, the seed paper business cards have high germination rates if planted within 2 years, so recipients don't have to plant them right away! The reason why many of our customers choose seed paper is because the textured quality stands out and is memorable. It's a great conversation starter.
