As a matter of principal, I don't easily give high praise to anybody who hasn't earned it, because I'm the Senior Executive Editor for Sony Music, located in their Los Angeles Headquarters.
I'm an original Goth from the 80's, so "Dark-wave/Goth" music is what I truly enjoy listen too, during my slow days. It's the way I relax and dance away by myself in either my office or at home. This song simply glides on the air at my home, which is impressive. Sorry, but there isn't a "Dark-wave Category" for independent artist's within the Sony family; however, this song is a fantastic example of what youthful ingenuity, an unbound sense of creativity, as well as a sensitive resourcefulness can truly achieve.
I meant it when I said this song was "Cinematic", because there are 'music scouts' whose job is to look for all types of music ― Too set within movies. Don't be surprised if you receive an email from someone who wants to use this song in a production. I've already submitted "The Collector" in Sony's film division, however there are no guarantees they'll use it.
