It's just the purest form of music.. And signifies and lives upto to the idea that our motherland is. This music isn't just poetry, but is based on folk, legends and imbibes tales and myths that our culture is all about.
Love Rajasthan; however, everytime i visit RJ, one of my biggest fears is to see how these ancestral tribes of musicians, dancers, craftsmen and artists ardisappearing slowly slowly.
I worry what will our coming generations get to see and experience, if not our own heritage, traditions and culture..
Civilisation lasting millenniums, and one day it may all vanish, it will be a waste if we dont preserve and take it forward with all the modern development we achieve.
I totally agree with you. I do hope that after these musicians, other people will come. (And other people will record !)

Some people think that Who listen Rajasthani Song is illiterate (Ganwar). I think that doesn't have sense of music. I also used to listen English as well Hindi and many other language of India but our music traditions are unique. What a music of Marwar. I have listen this song many time.

It is sad to see such great music is kept alive by only people living in poverty. Only trash music makes money because thats what most people like now. Unfortunately this great music will be extinct for this reason in very few generations.
I agree with you. And since march 2020, the situation is very difficult, due to corona virus. Foreigners can't get tourist visa. So, these street musicians can't get enough money for daily life.
Ironically there is another side - only simple and poor people can sing such soul touching songs.
