I would recommend just going to a dealership and sitting on the bikes. That will give a very good idea of what bike size is perfect for you
The CRF125F small wheel has 1" less suspension front and rear at about 5.5" and the big wheel has 6.5" front and rear. We own two CRF125F big wheels and they are amazingly good motorcycles and they look really good too.
I’m about 5,2 and I fit perfectly on a crf 125
im around 5,1 and 50kg but i have the small wheel 125 and it fits perfectly as its small ish so you have alot of control if ur begining

Absolutely! If you can sit on a 125 at a dealer near you I recommend it!
i’m 5’5 17 and 175 and i’m lookin for a beginner bike with decent speed they got the 125f at a dealership down the road but idk if it’ll fit me
Sit on it if it’s a first bike the 125 is the way to go with the big wheel

i’m 5’6 on a crf230, put it sxs with my friends 250f same size… I would say get a 250f it would fit you good. it’s my first bike and i’ve had it for 2 months and can keep up with all my friends just fine

Will the 125f big wheel be tall enough for a 6’0 200lb rider to learn to ride a dirtbike? Intentions are to eventually upgrade, but I feel like a 250f may be too much bike to learn on? Thank you
I say big wheel 125. The 250f can be a lot of bike depending on rider experience if a first bike I wouldn't recommend it. Also prices are crazy so when you sell in 2 years to upgrade if U do you will get what you paid for it if that is a concern

I’d recommend that see how they fit you. The 250 will feel more full when you sit on it. It’s a bigger bike but not like a race bike at your height it will feel nice.
@@BrickNick931 I’ve been in talks with the local dealership and 250s are hard to come by where I live. My only option may be a 125 unfortunately. I know a 250 would fit my height and weight way better too
@@Ksmithy1080 same here with me man, I think I might end up pulling the trigger on the big wheel and then just sell it to upgrade, my salesman I was talking to was honest with me and said to go for a slower bike till I get comfortable

There’s nearly a 70 pound weight difference between the two bikes. I think that’s important to know.

125 big wheel grow into small wheel would fit you better now

Looking at a 250f rn I just broke the case saver mounts on my case on my 2017 crf125
Oh boy.. how did you do that haha
The chain de railed and hit the case saver pushed up on the top mount and the mount broke off
Must’ve had the chain too loose
Yeah that’s what I had thought but it was still the right tension i think something got wedged up in there

Yes the 250 has double the power of the 125
