How to find out what edcxxxx is this ecu or that ecu? So if i want to read an ecu and i know is edc17 but I don't know the exact edc17xxx is, how to find, because without knowing exact what edc17xxxx i don't know which pinout is needed.
Regarding the 12Volt supply, how did you connect it with the cable? Because it has postive and negative while the the scanmatik has one cable for 12volt the circular one

Two people told me after clone with Ktag is need a special function that makes the cloned ECU to start. after copying I would have to use tango or other equipment for the cloned file to work. But I'm not convinced. you have already cloned this type of ECU

Bosch ecu search. Type in the Bosch nummber
How you connected the wirings to that ECU? How did you know the location of each cable and how to edit GPT1 and GPT2

I need to replace an ECU on 2008 Audi Q7 4.2 FSI, the engine control module is Bosch MED 9.1.1. Can this tool do the complete job?
No. Use ktag bdm for med ecu. (clone with ktag works 100%for this Med9.1.1)
