The only western you'll see where no one gets hurt in a shootout. I LOVE this movie very unrated. And definitely needs real screen time. Better than alot of movies coming out of Hollywood.
Only complaint I've got is the scene where Sean gets the gun in working order. Anyone who has put a Colt Navy back together knows the hammer goes in from the bottom of the frame, not in from the slot in the top. Guess it's easier to film it that way, given that getting the hammer in requires one to take the handle off first.
I really wish that gun training and safety courses were taught in school. Yes guns are tools that have the potential to cause great harm but they can also be a fun hobby. Very few people who have ever been properly trained have fired a gun and not enjoyed it. Guns should never be considered toys just as swords, knives, cars and archery equipment should always be handled with care because if misused they are deadly. They are a load of fun and can do serve several purposes beyond killing innocent people. They can provide food, be used in recreational activities as well as gaurd the innocent and weak who cant defend themselves by other means. We as a world need to change our views on guns. If we viewed them as more sporting equipment than murder sticks i really feel the world would be a better place. Ah heck. I just love the feeling i get when i put rounds on target down range.
