I don't care what anyone says. I always loved the aesthetics and the next gen futuristic tech that ATC's pmc had. People that complained about the futuristic sci-fi stuff in 2 and 3 always seem to forget that FEAR was always set in the future. I mean the first game had mechs and power armour for crying out loud, nevermind the sci fi guns.
I don’t think the major complaint was with the sci fi element in total. It’s just that in Fear 1 a lot of it was set in a modern type environment, the buildings were of modern design, and even the replicas used modern armored trucks and Apache helicopters, as well as the first guns you get looking very similar to others. The thing was that the replicas really felt like a completely futuristic and advanced fighting force because of how sci fi they looked, it didn’t match the environment and that was really cool. It made you feel like you had to rely on pure wit and skill because they had everything else to their play while you were just a badass ghostbuster with some sweet kicks. And in the new ones when you make everything look sci fi you lose that fascination with the sci fi items as everything is now in the same color. From what I seen Fear 3 doesn’t suffer too much from that issue, but I haven’t played it so I couldn’t tell you, it’s just fear 2 that really dealt with that And again, I do respect your opinion, cause there are a lot of things I like in Fear 2 as well, just was never the sci fi elements that wowed me, at least not as much as the first.

Man, despite all the hate towards second and third F.E.A.R, I feel like I'm the only one who loves them. Like, I love all 3 games. I recently beat them back to back and almost had no problems with them. Like, F.E.A.R 1 is great FPS game with horror elements and interesting plot. Second game is like F.E.A.R 1 but bigger and better, and third game is just a good FPS game. And they all have their problems too. Like, in the first game there is some sound effects that is missing, like when you reload some weapons or sometimes when you are shooting. And the slow-mo effect for some reason also slows you down too, when it should slow down everything around you but not you. And then power armor boss encounter in the building where there is not enough space was just unfair and pain in the butt to deal with every time I replay F.E.A.R 1. And then the flashlight that lasts few seconds and then it runs out and you have to wait until it recharges by itself, which is what doesn't make any sense and is just annoying. Then in F.E.A.R 2 they fixed all that, but added new problems. For example, the run in this game feels too slow and clunky, then there is OP enemies that kills you with laser rifle in few shots, or those that with sniper rifles, which is annoying. Too many spongy enemies that takes too long to kill, and slow motions effect that is still slows you down too. And in F.E.A.R 3 it's mostly the same problems as in the second game, but there is few on top of them. Like, the difference between Pointman and Paxton, who are the two protagonists of this game, is just none existent. Like, sure one uses weapons to kill enemies and the other one uses magic, but in reality, just because Paxton can posses any enemy (except few), you basically returning to the same shooting gameplay as before. And then the routes that you take while playing as these characters are only different on the first level. But further down the game you will be going through the same route. And finally, the story perspective for both of these two characters are the same. But developers could make it so that if you play as Pointman, then there is one perspective, and you getting his specific cutscenes and his perspective. And when you playing as Paxton you see different perspective with different cutscenes and lines of dialogue. But nope! Pointman is basically the main protagonist of this game, so it doesn't make sense playing as Paxton. But in general, despite all of the problems that F.E.A.R trilogy has, I still love these 3 games. Especially those power armor sections, when you get in this huge mech and fight your way through hordes of enemies. Those sections of the games is just cool. The same with some cool scary places that you gonna visit. They all cool through all 3 games. So yeah, I don't get the hate for F.E.A.R 2 and 3. I could talk more about F.E.A.R's storylines, but I don't to spoil anything. I own all three of the original games on my xbox 360 even now and i'll just say that these games are well worth playing for yourself.
БЛЯХА МУХА! я помню этого робота, но я до сих пор помнил что это из игры "кризис". Мне стоит пройти эту игру, может вспомню чего.
All enemies are easy to me expect : nightcrawler elite + nightcrawler commander 😐😐😐😐😐
When I first meet them I was like : slow mo 😏😎🏃
Elite nightcrawlers : go a head 😏😏😏😏😏😏 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃

Run!!!! 22.10
I just didn't like the redesign of the Replicas in F.E.A.R 2. the original game looked like next generation soldiers. this game looks like a sci-fi you'd see on a mobile game.
зайбенели бы 4 часть, эх(((
trepang is not like fear 1
Perseus Mandate expansion is definitely the best game in the franchise. Also is the scariest one.

I've owned all of the fear games but the only one anyone really truly needs is the 1st one definitely. I can't recommend the other 2 to people for many reasons. if only they had of just kept going the same direction. to me fear truly died after extraction point.
