Congrats Chris! So touching to watch you did Tokyo from the start to the finish. I was there to run Tokyo the same year and get my No. 5 star. You are such an inspiration. Btw, I got my six stars in Boston a month after Tokyo. It's not easy to grab this dream. You doubled down efforts to finish it. Like your mom said, your purpose doesn't stop in Tokyo. You can help many. You are a blessing to many! Bless you, Chris!
Wow what an amazing story. You are such an amazing person, athlete and inspiration Chris! Congratulations! 🥳 It makes me so happy to see the amazing people he’s surrounded by such as his supporting parents and his amazing guides! Wow!
Thank you so much for sharing this. What an inspiration and incredible parenting also. Also love how running helped Raymond with mental health. And I can associate endurance sport really builds the man/woman within. So cant wait for Tokyo. Brings me to tears watching the love and encouragement given by guides and supporters. So incredible. And makes me think....I so can do an ironman too. 😮
Wonderful story and beautiful video guys ❤ it made me smile 😊 and had me in tears... Well done Chris!! Captures exactly why the majority of the running community is so understanding - as from the athletes chasing World Records to those trying to avoid the cut-offs we all face similar personal battles. Definitely inspirational and perhaps I need to find some goals again by setting my sights on ticking off the remaining 2 or 3 Stars. Much love from a Type 1 Diabetic runner who has run a +6 hour Marathon (when running unwell at London in 2017) to qualify for Boston 2025 with a 14 minute 29 seconds buffer in Amsterdam last year. Your Guide Runners were amazing too ❤❤ and the love from your family so wonderful to see.
❤❤❤❤❤❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ yesssss ssss my buddy Chris, you did it! I knew you would. You're such an inspiration, incredible, and selfless. I am so happy that we met on the bus in Tokyo. As i too ran Tokyo, I'm so glad that I saw you on the course and I started screaming "YOU GOT THIS CHRIS!" I see I made the video clip 😅 you remembered me, you said "what's up Ethel?" 😊 Awwwww. You're amazing, keep inspiring ❤️ The best Is still yet to come for you and others as you pave the way! 1 % BETTER🧡
