I am happy you get to travel again. I have a packing list, but my blog is not finalized. A blog is way too much work I am finding out. If it says tsa approved, then it is. One tip I’d like to add is to make sure all the liquid items in your clear pouch fit into the appropriate sized ziploc bag. I used ziploc bags for years but a couple of years ago, I decided to do the environmentally responsible thing and invest in a reusable TSA approved size plastic pouch. The first trip I used it, the pouch didn’t attract any attention on any of our outbound flights but on the last leg of our homeward journey, I got an overzealous agent who made me repack my liquids into the airport standard issue quart sized plastic bag. Three of my items didn’t fit. The officer told me I could either go back and check my carry on bag or else dispose of the items that didn’t fit. Of course it wasn’t worth risking missing my flight over so I ended up having to sacrifice about $35 worth of product. I’ve since gone back to using a ziploc bag and haven’t had any further problems. I discovered that there is less wear & tear on the ziploc bag and it can be reused many times if I pack it inside a slightly larger lightweight pouch. That way I can always pull out the ziploc if I encounter another persnickety security agent.
Thank you for posting this. I'm reasonably sure that the plastic zip pouch that came with my new reusable squeeze bottles (which I'd rather not toss) is bigger than a quart bag, I was wondering if this would present a problem.

Other countries, Israel for example, do a better job of screening passengers vs screening their belongings.

Frozen grapes (or other frozen fruit like melons or berries) make for a great snack later. If you don't mind throwing them out later, frozen peas work great, too.

Hi Laurie. I have been watching your channel for a week or so now. What a great thing you are doing for us! Thank you! I am going to be flying a couple of trips in the next couple of months and am a bit nervous about it. I’ve traveled a lot in the past, but I have accumulated more health issues since. One big thing thing I would like to see brought up is the people that wear scented products…oh, my! I have chemical sensitivities and people do not seem to understand that those scented products that they wear are toxic they are to everyone (many of the same chemicals are in cigarettes)! I’m just the canary in the classroom. Anyway, it can be very bad for those of us with this problem, even anaphylactic like peanuts. I travel with things that can help me because it is a daily life thing for me, but people should never use heavily scented products (even the lightly scented) when they are going to be with other people in small spaces. Thanks for all you do, Laurie. It’s an amazing channel and I have learned a lot from you. 😊
I love the bloopers…I’d love a video about traveling with toddlers. Everything from best seats, seating options (car seat vs. CARES harness), and what to bring in your diaper bag and carry on.
So let me see if I’ve gotten this straight (for now) regarding cosmetics: lipsticks & lip balms are NOT liquids but a lip gloss IS & should be in the liquids bag. I always feel like I AM the blooper on that line…Oy 🙄 But I love yours, especially “EXCUSE ME?!!” Thanks for all of the info you’ve given us!
Interesting. Thanks for all of your clear explanations. I have had baby wipes pulled before, and the TSA agent told me that they needed to be separate. But I've used smaller packs of antibacterial wipes and never had a problem. It is difficult when every airport or sometimes individual TSA agents have their own standards. I'm not sure I would ever be brave enough to show a screenshot and tell a TSA agent they are wrong. The two times I have tried to argue turned into huge ordeals that had supervisors called, etc. (Once was in Baltimore when I didn't want to go through the X-ray while pregnant. I ended up being intimidated into going through- I couldn't think clearly with all that was being said. Another time, in New York an agent was questioning my 14 yr old daughter's passport, and wouldn't let either parent be with her. She was thoroughly harassed and very upset.) Those are just two instances in many trips, and we've had mainly pleasant interactions with TSA. But if I'm going through screening, I'm never going to insist on taking any certain item with me.
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie why does it seem to be acceptable, a given even, that some TSA officers are "bad". Shouldn't they all be doing the job the same way to ensure that guidelines and rules are being followed by passengers. The passenger follows the rules set forth by the airlines and TSA needs to follow their own rules as employees.
I am sooooo grateful for your channel Laurie! We are flying to Florida soon and it has been awhile since we have flown. I have been watching your videos to remind me of what to do so I don't get stressed! Blessings!
Oh! Your comment about your mother and the gingerbread house kit reminded me about when I flew home for Christmas in 2022; I had made fruitcake, and had brought two with me in my carry-on. I had wrapped them in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil. When I went through TSA/ security line, I was pulled aside. They made me unwrap the fruitcakes!! Both of them! Lesson learned! 🙄😁 I stumbled on your channel a few days ago. My husband and I are getting ready to take our first international flight since Covid (to Mexico!) next week. I'm so excited! I've picked up some good tips from your channel. Keep them coming!!
When I traveled in November 2020, I had small packs of single serve peanut butter. I packed it in a separate food bag with other solid foods and bars. Maybe because it was 2020 or maybe I had a nice TSA agent (small airport), no one batted an eye. It went through the X-ray too.
Here in Canada, frozen ice packs, because they're liquid at room temperature, are subject to liquid restrictions unless used for products carried for babies or children or for medically necessary items, and hand sanitizer is still subject to liquid restrictions. Also, in other countries, liquid medications, including gel caps, may be subject to liquid restrictions, so please check the restrictions where you're going to avoid any nasty surprises when you arrive.
FYI....I flew last week and the 2 airports I flew out of, no longer require you to take ANYTHING out of your carry-on or personal bag. Tulsa, OK & Columbus, Ohio ~Electronics, liquids & food items all stay in your bags now. YEA!
Distilled water is allowed if you have a cpap machine. It does have to be in a ziplock bag. I usually can fit it in a gallon bag since I’ve never traveled with it for more than 4 days. At home I keep gallon bottles on my nightstand but I get smaller bottles on Amazon when I’m traveling. Each bottle is the exact amount I need for one night so I bring one bottle per day I’m going to be traveling. I’ve never had a problem taking those through TSA. The bottles I get from Amazon specifically stated on the label that they are for cpap. My first time traveling with my cpap I filled up a used Aquafina bottle with distilled water and stuck a label on that said cpap water on it. I had. I problem going through my home airport but they gave me a hard time at the Dulles airport on my way home.
@@mariawitanra The rules have changed. Lipstick, since it can hold it's shape, does not go into the liquids bag. Lip Gloss, since it does not hold it's shape, does go into the liquids bag.
Being a MUA (makeup artist), I have to bring insane amounts of products in my kit, so I decant/depot products to carry what is needed of any product. So ask yourself, do I need 3.4oz/100ml of shampoo/lotion/etc for my trip?...if not, bring what you will use in a smaller container. I have traveled for 3.5wks before with all of my liquids fitting in a quart sized baggie, and I use a lot of products. I have .33oz bottles that I put my shampoo/foundation/makeup-remover/etc. in that take up a fraction of the space. I also take sample packs of shampoo/skin care/mascara/foundation/etc with me to use on my trip, so I can travel with less containers, and use my stash that I've collected.
So true! I found that I can travel with a small amount of liquid shampoo and mix it with the hotel's. And I also discovered Lush shampoo bars and cut off some and pack them in a plastic baggie.
I wish all TSA rules applied at all Airports. Here where I live they don't require to pull out your liquid bag. But when I went to Maui they did require to put your liquid bag in a bin. Vegas you don't have to take it out either.
Love your travel trips. I have only flown two times and I stressing about packing and especially the liquids bag and pills. You have helped me tremendously! Thank you Laurie!
I swear, last night I was going to look to see if you had a video just like this one, and 10 minutes ago this popped up to tell me “yes, right now”. Thanks sooo much. Love your videos. I am traveling soon internationally and alone for the first time since my husband died. So I am trying to pack very small and make sure I get through TSA without any problems.
Saying dry shampoo counts as a liquid is a blanket statement that isn't always true. I saw that you were holding up an aerosol bottle of dry shampoo, and for that kind, I agree with you. However, I have powder dry shampoo (the main ingredient is rice starch) and I purchased it specifically for traveling. It's in a shaker bottle and is completely dry. I can't imagine that I would have to put it in the quart liquid bag.
I’m my experience, in both a very small town airport (offers minimal direct flights) and the Denver airport, actual powder dry shampoo doesn’t need to be in the liquids bag
Hi Laurie! I’m glad I came across your channel because you cover EVERYTHING! SO helpful! I’ve been flying literally since I was a baby, (in the 60’s!) but less often these days, so I needed a refresher in the new rules, ‘cause I’m a stickler for rules! Thanks for all these great travel videos! Greetings from RI! 💚
Thank you for watching this old video. The rules still apply but you'll hardly ever have to remove your liquids bag in the US anymore b/c of newer tech.
I got tickled listening to you say "liquid bag" and "liquids" again and again! 😃 Your hair looked really nice in this video. Always good info in your videos.
Ive been stopped for having toddler flormula when travelling with my 3 year sister. That was a few years ago. I’m glad she’s not needing it anymore. I tell her to bin drinks and buy one after security like I do. She knows we are going to buy drinks after security!!! It’s awesome that hand gel is no longer liquid by tsa rules. I’m glad I’ve never took food on a airplane.
When I traveled with my son when he was a baby I could bring bottles filled with fluoride free baby water for his formula. They usually would open the bottle and put one of those swabs over it to check. Having the bottles like that with the formula can plus the baby wipes in the diaper bag helped when going through security because it is all right there.
Thank you so much for your videos and all of the helpful tips and tricks. I am about to go on my first flight and have such anxiety about it. Watching your videos had helped so much, and I feel very prepared on what to pack and for my TSA screening.
Is Dior lip maximizer lip gloss considered a liquid? All these rules are very stressful! What about an asthma inhaler aerosol? Does that go in the quart bag?
Hi, lip gloss is considered a liquid-here in the US they are not strict. Asthma stuff is fine. Just tell the officer you have it-medical things do not need to be in the quart bag woohoo.
Love your videos. They have helped me so much. I just wish my husband would watch. He refuses to do a liquids bag and just buys soap, shampoo etc when we get to our destination and then just throws it away when we leave. He's a stubborn one
Idk, my family has always done that for international travel because it's such a hassle to pack some toiletries. And we always get to explore new grocery stores and pharmacies for fun stuff 😊. It's a great way to learn about a different country.
Laurie I have been watching so many of your videos in advance of my European cruise. Thanks for answering so many of my questions. Haven’t traveled since 2019 and can’t wait to get away!
If you have a lot of crowns a small container of Vaseline should always travel with you. My dentist and probably most dentists don’t want you buying that little glue kit at the drugstore and gluing your crown back in. You probably aren’t going to do it correctly. A little bit of Vaseline inside the crown holds it tight in your mouth all day. I take it out at night- - don’t want to swallow that sucker, and then put it back in the next day. On a driving trip once I lost crown on the first day and 10 days later I went to the dentist. Ate without any problem all the time. I’ve also used to two times at home for the one or two days until I can get to the dentist. By the way you don’t taste the Vaseline because you’re just putting a little bit inside the crown.
While checking in Denver airport tsa did NOT make us take anything out of our carryons to be screened. (October 15th 2021). We put both carryons in grey bin/shoes/zip up coat. Easy peasy. Quick. Again I get a pat down lol 😂 Completely forgot about the metal wire in my bra. Thanks for making us feel confident in airports 🙂. Our vacation was a success!! We decided NOT to pack liquids. Stopped and purchased what we needed for trip after we arrived in destination.
This proves my point about discrimination. Women wear bras with wires. Wire bras aren't a new invention, yet each time a woman is screened for wearing one, it's like it never existed before. If we have the technology to fly airplanes, you would think the scanning machines could be calibrated for wire bras.
Hi Laurie, thank you so much for all these great videos. Could you please let me know the reason why to carry the liquids in the carryon baggage rather than in the checked baggage. Thank you 🌸
Hi, some want to save space. Some want to not wait for their bags or risk losing their bags. I do it because we usually fly standby and cannot check bags.
Why be weird and try to bring weird food or large bath and body items. Just take minimal items and unless you are traveling to the deep inner rainforest…you can buy anything you need at your destination. You can’t treat a plane trip like a car ride. Take less. Follow rules. Thanks Laurie for reviewing the rules.
I have gluten and lactose sensitivities. Airport restaurants or convenience stores often don’t have things I can eat. So “why be weird”…check your privilege friend. Also, not everyone wants to spend $7 just for snacks at an airport store.
Always second guess lipstick bullets. It is solid but spreadable…gloss would definitely go in the liquids. Daily contact lenses are in a teeny tiny bit of liquid, ugh.
Earth Breeze and a few other companies) make laundry detergent sheets which are a wonderful alternative to liquid laundry detergent. And they save space (and weight) and can be used on stains
I use my little diabetic test strip bottle to put small amounts in. They are tight but don't believe they are waterproof. Like your littles, thick lotions work best or pills, jewelry! Thanks for all the good info!
Hey there, I'm a new watcher, too. Love all the tips. I don't think I'd even try to bring CBD oil overseas anymore. I don't even know about CBD gummies. Good idea to check b4 one goes.
I heard that mascara was considered a liquid so that needed to go into the bag. Is that correct? Also, since lipstick doesn’t have to go in the bag what about lip gloss ? TIA
Prepping for a few international business trips this fall/winter and I haven't flown for a few years... I've watched almost all of your videos and can't thank you enough for all of the effort you've made! Question: Do you have a link for the athletic waist pack you had in one of your earlier videos?
Just wanted to say thank you for all your videos! I haven't taken a trip since I was a kid nearly 20 years ago. I just want to make sure I get everything right.
Just a heads up - that first "clear" bag with the printing on it was refused by customs in the UK - I had to take everything out and put into a completely clear bag (this was before lockdown, in 2019). Good info - thanks!
DFW has done that to me…. Everything OUT the same sized clear bag - but had writing/marking on it and they made me put everything back into a Zip Lock Baggie!! Then of course after I got thru… I transferred it all back to my sturdier clear qt sized bag! Crazy!!!!
I recently flew, I haven’t been on a plane since Covid-19, and they didn’t require that I even take my liquids bag out of my suitcase! A friend I was flying with said that you can have more than one 1-quart bag!! She said she looked it up on TSA’s website, however I couldn’t find it.
My brother just told me the same thing. He flew Boston to St Louis and back for work the beginning of the week. He said he’s never had to put his liquids in a bin, just keeps them packed.
Hi, I am loving your videos, thank you. My first overseas trip is coming up and I am trying to find out if Ozempic and Nitroglycerin Spray goes into your clear fluids bag. I am travelling from Canada but can’t seem to get a definite answer, thankful for any guidance you can give me❣️
Good hints as always! I have had to put my lipstick and stick deodorant in my liquids bag, but it was returning to and not leaving Canada. But never again did I have to!
Thank You Laurie, I'm traveling for the first time in over 25 years and it feels like the first time. I am also a senior and have difficulty getting around. Do you have any travel tips? I've watched some of your videos and the information is WONDERFUL! Thank you.
I was being pushed through security BY security at Heathrow and didn't remember to get my liquid bag out. So I was pulled out of line for liquid testing. The agent doing the testing asked if I had any mascara in my a carry-on makeup bag, because she needed to check that too. She advised me that mascara always belonged in the liquid bag, at least in the UK.
Its probably been answered and i feel dumb for asking but what about toothpaste and a small trial size spraybottle of perfume? Im not checking any bags.
2 questions: 1. What are the aerosol restrictions for carry-ons? I saw you had the travel lysol in your hand but I've read those are technically not allowed. Any clarification or alternative? 2. Can you have 1 liquids bag in your carry-on and 1 in your personal bag?
Hey there and thx for watching. Aerosols are liquid and allowed in carryon. You’re only allowed one liquids bag per person in carryon. If checking a bag they can be bigger and packed anywhere.
Thanks for the tips! Found your channel before traveling to Scotland and London recently. Leaving the States we didn't have to get any of our liquids out but we had to with British Airways and Air Portugal.. we were prepared but our friends were not!
I have not been in forever so maybe ask @loveandlondon or buy some from the local pharmacy when you arrive and before you leave that airport when you land.
One thing I'm really frustrated with is the size of the personal carry-on for United Airlines. I'm going to Greece in September and staying on a small-ish sailboat/yacht. I'm going to try my best to get everything in a small carry-on (that I'm going to take with me on the plane) and I have a smaller bag (15x13x9) that I use for toiletries and things I want with me on the flight. Their rule for a personal item size is 9x10x17 and most backpacks are larger than that which would have been my second option. I have a smaller Swiss Army toiltery bag I can use and have had for a while, but the main issue is that it does not have wheels. If it's heavy AT ALL it's pretty much guaranteed to hurt my back or shoulders as I'll have to be lugging it around. And I'll be doing quite a bit of traveling before I get on the sailboat. Does anyone have suggestions about this?
So many airlines have made the international flight bags so small! I think they will either transfer you to a smaller airplane or they are trying to make us check luggage.
Hey Laurie I was wondering if you could do an international video as far as traveling and qhats required. I keep trying to look and iv been getting confused. This is my first international flight to Italy. Any help is much appreciated 🙏🏻
Thanks for your great videos. Do you know if you have to put cream products like Mac colour correcting palette or other more solid makeup creams in the TSA bag?
Just found your video & it is very informative. Quick question, does denture adhesive, which is necessary for dentures, need to go in the regular liquids bag or with your medication? This is for a trip within the continental US. I don’t think I’ve seen anything about this anywhere. Than you
Love your channel. I haven’t flown in a while but will be headed on a cruise next month. I have prescribed patches for seasickness. Would those be considered a liquid?
Hello! Thank you for all your great info! I saw In one of your videos that you have a great non leaking water bottle, can’t find the video anywhere! Help!

That's correct; teen knew I was videoing too lol.
I am so sorry you had those experiences. When you get a bad officer, it's bad!
It's all over the place. Security Theater.
@@sherylF5610 Yes it sure does. Same goes with doctors and teachers and every job really. When you have a rude one, it's so bad.
I am sooooo grateful for your channel Laurie! We are flying to Florida soon and it has been awhile since we have flown. I have been watching your videos to remind me of what to do so I don't get stressed! Blessings!
Yay! You can watch this too: bit.ly/AirlineTravelChangesPostCOVID
Oh wow!!!
YEA!
Same with us. SW & United. I asked & they said no just shoes.
I live for the bloopers. Wish everyone did this. Great tips by the way. I also love how you don't bore me.
Thank you for saying that Myra!
Thanks for all the tips! They are so helpful and we will only travel with a carryon and a backpack. Really helps getting around.
I agree!
This summer I’m traveling to Rome and Greece from southern U.S. super excited! Thank you so much, I’ve been binge watching your videos!
Hi, I knew I had read that somewhere but cannot find it now. If you find it will you send me the wording? You cannot leave a link unfortunately.
I’m surprised about the lipstick, I’ve read many lists where it’s included. This makes me happy! Now I have more room in the L bag.
I have not traveled with it since masks on the airplane. Thx!
Lip gloss, and liquid lipstick are considered liquid.
@@mariawitanra The rules have changed. Lipstick, since it can hold it's shape, does not go into the liquids bag. Lip Gloss, since it does not hold it's shape, does go into the liquids bag.
I just love the bloopers. They are fun to watch. 😂 Love the tips. We’re seasoned travelers but I still enjoy watching your vlogs.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing!!
Oh yay Sandra! I have a lightweight video uploading in an hour!
Halo, am new and will be flying for the first time. Thanks for the tips.
Very timely tips for me! We are flying for the first time in 29 years for our anniversary, and I have been stressing.
Have a great trip!
Thanks for the reminders Laurie! Fingers crossed going to Jamaica in two weeks! Fun bloopers❣️
Yay!!!!
Love your videos!
Got my TSA pre check! So easy and took like 5-10 minutes!
I just got mine also! Easy process.
Once you had the appointment how soon after could you use it? Same day, within a week?
Thank you so much for your videos and all of the helpful tips and tricks. I am about to go on my first flight and have such anxiety about it. Watching your videos had helped so much, and I feel very prepared on what to pack and for my TSA screening.
Know that you'll make a mistake. And you'll still be okay. Now you can stand tall and smile and not be rushed. Have fun!
That is the reason how come I always have a checked bag is because of my liquids. I think from now on I’m just gonna buy it when I get there. Lol
Laurie I have been watching so many of your videos in advance of my European cruise. Thanks for answering so many of my questions. Haven’t traveled since 2019 and can’t wait to get away!
Ooh how wonderful! I hope your trip and cruise are beautiful!
You're a doll! Thanks for the tips and laughs...we're traveling to Texas a 2 weeks, yay!
Yes, in some they have new tech or low threat. It's been awesome!
My son has long haul covid and is very limited on items to eat. It’s not weird, we look at it as getting creative.
Hello Laurie, thanks for keeping me up to date! I am finally going to start traveling again in December! P.S. Love the bloopers!
Hope it's wonderful!!
Always second guess lipstick bullets. It is solid but spreadable…gloss would definitely go in the liquids. Daily contact lenses are in a teeny tiny bit of liquid, ugh.
Yes, when in doubt, throw them in or ask TSA.
Earth Breeze and a few other companies) make laundry detergent sheets which are a wonderful alternative to liquid laundry detergent. And they save space (and weight) and can be used on stains
Great to know! We used one from Amazon but then I found the unscented ones which I recommend.
Hi Laurie! Love your videos, I just found them this week and they have great tips. Thanks so much for sharing.
This is so helpful. Thanks Laurie. I haven't been getting any notifications.
Oh good! You may not have clicked the right thing on the bell. Click the bell and choose the notification you want.
Thank you for this video, Laurie. I'm flying internationally tonight and needed this refresher.
How did it go???
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie Everything was smooth as silk, thanks to you !!
Love your videos!!! Have you done any on proper ID when going through security? I had to research about the Real ID license rules.
Hi, I did one and it's now not due until May of 2023, but we think it'll change because of the vx rules.
I use my little diabetic test strip bottle to put small amounts in. They are tight but don't believe they are waterproof. Like your littles, thick lotions work best or pills, jewelry! Thanks for all the good info!
Laurie, I get a kick out of your family photo, with your son in the back covering his eyes!! LOL!!! ❤ 😊 So cute!!!
That is so funny!!
Hey there, I'm a new watcher, too. Love all the tips. I don't think I'd even try to bring CBD oil overseas anymore. I don't even know about CBD gummies. Good idea to check b4 one goes.
I love your channel, so much useful information. One question I haven’t seen is omega-3 supplements, would these be considered a liquid? Thank you 😊
Hi no just pills.
I heard that mascara was considered a liquid so that needed to go into the bag. Is that correct? Also, since lipstick doesn’t have to go in the bag what about lip gloss ? TIA
Great explanation, thanks! I would not bring CBD to any foreign country. Just. Not.
Prepping for a few international business trips this fall/winter and I haven't flown for a few years... I've watched almost all of your videos and can't thank you enough for all of the effort you've made! Question: Do you have a link for the athletic waist pack you had in one of your earlier videos?
Hi, here it is: bit.ly/2WoDMhZ
Just wanted to say thank you for all your videos! I haven't taken a trip since I was a kid nearly 20 years ago. I just want to make sure I get everything right.
That is awesome! It'll be wonderful. If you click on playlists you can watch the first time ones.
Thank you for your expertise! Leaving for Jamaica soon! Very helpful videos!
Just a heads up - that first "clear" bag with the printing on it was refused by customs in the UK - I had to take everything out and put into a completely clear bag (this was before lockdown, in 2019). Good info - thanks!
What? Wow
@@scentlover4841 True!
Heathrow airport is very strict. I got dinged 6 yrs ago and it was embarrassing.
Same in Kuwait but for some reason in turkey they didn't care
DFW has done that to me…. Everything OUT the same sized clear bag - but had writing/marking on it and they made me put everything back into a Zip Lock Baggie!! Then of course after I got thru… I transferred it all back to my sturdier clear qt sized bag! Crazy!!!!
Traveling stresses me out 🥴 this helps though!
I am very appreciative of your information, our airline is a little picky and your tips have been so helpful!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Less than two weeks till my trip! Thanks, Laurie, as a,ways, for the great tips!
Love your tips!!! What's the word on mascara? Is it in the clear liquids bag or not??
Technically it's a liquid-I talk about it near the end as well as lipstick.
i was about to ask you about an insulin coz my husband have 2 kinds of insulin and surprisingly it's included😊 Appreciate you❤️ new subs here
I recently flew, I haven’t been on a plane since Covid-19, and they didn’t require that I even take my liquids bag out of my suitcase!
Hi, yes so many times they do not make us take out the bag, but it can change in 10 minutes. But yes only one bag of liquids is allowed.
Hi, I am loving your videos, thank you. My first overseas trip is coming up and I am trying to find out if Ozempic and Nitroglycerin Spray goes into your clear fluids bag. I am travelling from Canada but can’t seem to get a definite answer, thankful for any guidance you can give me❣️
Your videos are always so fun and informative!
Thank you Mary! I hope your trip is smooth.
My TSA app is fantastic and very helpful. You can check your airports tsa wait time plus there's a ask tsa section.
Yes love it! Glad it helps you too.
Thank you.
Wonderful! Just arrive 2 hours before boarding not departure
In England they consider inhalers for asthma as a liquid, so you have to put them in your liquids bag.
Also, thanks for offering all of your tips! I've learned a lot of useful travel information from your videos. xo
Yes, it's odd that it is, but it is.
Hi Laurie! Thank you for this video! I now travel with a CPAP (distilled water) and insulin (icepack). Very helpful!
Camille, I am so glad to hear that those are allowed in the TSA line still.
Hi Laurie, again! At least in Canada.
Its probably been answered and i feel dumb for asking but what about toothpaste and a small trial size spraybottle of perfume? Im not checking any bags.
Hi Laurie,
Has this been updated for 2024? Traveling to Japan end of September. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the tips and info. What about Precheck liquid for security?
These are only for regular security. I would have them all together though so they can easily be screened.
Thanks for the Ask TSA tip. Daily disposable contact lenses are still a murky mess to navigate on their website.
They are!
Thanks for all the info. Your videos have helped me since I am still new to flying and airports. Thanks.
Glad to help!
What about the spray hand sanitizer? I prefer those. Are they allowed or not recommended?
2 questions:
Do you need to put a travel iron in the green bin
Good tips and reminders! Thanks, Laurie!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tips! Found your channel before traveling to Scotland and London recently. Leaving the States we didn't have to get any of our liquids out but we had to with British Airways and Air Portugal.. we were prepared but our friends were not!

What do you recommend when in Europe for water? Travel bottle? Is the water safe to drink if it’s not bottled?
It's so frustrating; and it changes so often so I do not think I would be much help.
I still don’t know about some of the things I need to bring. Eye drops? They’re in tiny plastic one time use tubes. Are they considered a liquid?
Thanks for your great videos. Do you know if you have to put cream products like Mac colour correcting palette or other more solid makeup creams in the TSA bag?
Another informative video!
Thank you!
Just found your video & it is very informative. Quick question, does denture adhesive, which is necessary for dentures, need to go in the regular liquids bag or with your medication? This is for a trip within the continental US. I don’t think I’ve seen anything about this anywhere. Than you
Hi I think it goes in liquids bag.
Hi Laurie. I really enjoy your videos. I was wondering if nail polish remover pads Hass to go in your liquids bag. Thank you
Hi, since there is so much liquid in the bottom of the container, I think it would and the container cannot be larger than 3.4 ounces.
Love your channel. I haven’t flown in a while but will be headed on a cruise next month. I have prescribed patches for seasickness. Would those be considered a liquid?
Hi, I do not think so b/c antibacterial wipes are not liquids. Have a beautiful time!
Does it have to be clear ?

I bought silicone 3 oz container tubes from the dollar tree and I've squeezed them until my hands shook. They never popped, and when I went on a flight they worked great!
