I was there... I touched his arm once, and that was it. I got starstruck by his perfectly handsome face. I was frozen, I couldn't move, and of all the korean words I have learned, I couldn't even say a single oppa. I just watched him from afar and witness the other fans go crazy but I definitely understand them. That's what happens when you see your favorite star right in front of you not just on TV... It's like a dream come true, that's why you get excited and overwhelmed...

I was there. He wasn't acting polite at all, he didn't wave or smile. Even if it was a long flight, he didn't even smile. At least EXO or Jang Geun Suk smile, LMH acted really cold. I was way too afraid to get near all those freakish fans. Thats why I kept my distance from him, and suddenly he turned and walked towards me and thats when some red haired girl came running after him and shoved me to the side.
Someone ask him before in a interview how is it like to be doing a K-Drama. He said that sometimes he can't sleep, eat, go out, talk to people, and other things that he can't do but have to force himself to keep on going until the director or someone said, "Okay, that is for today!" So that why sometimes when people ask him, "Do you have a girlfriend?" He reply saying he doesn't go out much or don't have much friends because of current stuff like work and etc.
He looked tired, but as an actor/public figure Min Ho looks a little cold to his fans. I've seen a few other times he was caught up in a group and it seems his immediate defense mechanism is to ignore them and walk on. It is overwhelming, I'm sure, but he chose that lifestyle knowing well that it comes with fame. And it's not everyday his international fans get to meet him. However, none of that justifies the over crowding of the fans. Still. Lee Min Ho isn't really the best when it comes showing gratitude towards fans.

I saw his appearance right after City Hunter at Happy Family (it's a huge entertainment/variety show in China) and he was super sweet to the fans and he still remembered the hosts from when they visited him a few years ago. actors like him are busy and stress and he pays his fans by doing well with his job. they're human too... imagine having a life like them..barely sleeping, stressed full of pips following you around, you need to control your behavior, you cant be you coz of the judgmental pips etc.. although.. i cant blame the fans too for they dont got to meet him all the time. you'll either choose to be judgmental or understanding in the actors and fans.
You have to understand that he is tired from a long trip. Also, he cannot accomodate people because his knowledge of the English language is limited to 'hello, how are you, thank you' ... that's why he cannot interact with international fans, without an interpreter. Secondly, he can't just sign autographs for 1 or 2 people... if he does it for one then he has to do it for everyone. When he arrived in NZ, there were only a handful of fans so he did sign for them.

In my opinion, of course we're his fans but give him space. Like that one guy have said take a picture and leave or stay at least 7 ft away from him and scream from there . I was there. He wasn't acting polite at all, he didn't wave or smile. Even if it was a long flight, he didn't even smile.
At least EXO or Jang Geun Suk smile, LMH acted really cold.
I was way too afraid to get near all those freakish fans. Thats why I kept my distance from him, and suddenly he turned and walked towards me and thats when some red haired girl came running after him and shoved me to the side.
Someone ask him before in a interview how is it like to be doing a K-Drama. He said that sometimes he can't sleep, eat, go out, talk to people, and other things that he can't do but have to force himself to keep on going until the director or someone said, "Okay, that is for today!"
So that why sometimes when people ask him, "Do you have a girlfriend?"
He reply saying he doesn't go out much or don't have much friends because of current stuff like work and etc.

He looked tired, but as an actor/public figure Min Ho looks a little cold to his fans. I've seen a few other times he was caught up in a group and it seems his immediate defense mechanism is to ignore them and walk on. It is overwhelming, I'm sure, but he chose that lifestyle knowing well that it comes with fame. And it's not everyday his international fans get to meet him. However, none of that justifies the over crowding of the fans. Still. Lee Min Ho isn't really the best when it comes showing gratitude towards fans.
Girlfromneverland I'm not arguing about this or anything, so don't misunderstand please-but If you were tired from a flight and people shoved papers in your face for an autograph, wouldn't you consider that to be a bit rude? I know I would. Sheesh, they could've given him some space, at least! He couldn't move anywhere without his bodyguard moving people out of the way. :/ Also kind of drawing off of Vi Nguyen's comment about showing gratitude, I would say it's not only being tired, but being in the business for a while. Starting out to act and stuff, you might appreciate your fans and smile and everything, but eventually you'll get sick of the same old same old. Some fans are dangerous too. :/ I'm sure he greatly appreciates all his fans, but he's human too. Celebs makes mistakes as well and I think he has the right to feel frustrated (If he even was) because of the crowd and it also seemed like his ride wasn't there when it was supposed to be. At least he smiled and tried by the looks of it. :) I'm just trying to be open minded about this, that's all.

I saw his appearance right after City Hunter at Happy Family (it's a huge entertainment/variety show in China) and he was super sweet to the fans and he still remembered the hosts from when they visited him a few years ago. He probably just understandably has no patience for fans like these who claim to like/care about someone but have no consideration for how tired or wanting space he is.
But seriously, if you haven't seen how sweet he is to his fans then you shouldn't talk. I've seen him in person and he loved connecting and meeting his fans. He shook hands with them and smiled the whole time. But would you like it if you came half way around the world, ur tired from the plane ride, and crazy uncontrollable fans are shoving cameras in your face and dozens of people ask you for ur autograph. He smiled and said he was sorry, because he knew if he signed that girl's paper then he would have to sign all of their papers, which obviously he couldn't do. If you still think that he's cold to his fans you have the whole youtube to see him meeting his fans. Like you said, it's not everyday his international fans get to meet him. He probably was shocked to see people screaming over him head saying to stop pushing, seeing so-called "fans" calling his name wrong, getting papers shoved in his face, he must have been pretty shocked., because in Korea, fans dont push each other to go infront, they all keep themselves in control. well i have a whole lot more to say but ill stop here... but was your comment really necessary i mean like seriously people...
actors like him are busy and stress and he pays his fans by doing well with his job. they're human too... imagine having a life like them..barely sleeping, stressed full of pips following you around, you need to control your behavior, you cant be you coz of the judgmental pips etc.. although.. i cant blame the fans too for they dont got to meet him all the time. you'll either choose to be judgmental or understanding in the actors and fans.
You have to understand that he is tired from a long trip. Also, he cannot accomodate people because his knowledge of the English language is limited to 'hello, how are you, thank you' ... that's why he cannot interact with international fans, without an interpreter. Secondly, he can't just sign autographs for 1 or 2 people... if he does it for one then he has to do it for everyone. When he arrived in NZ, there were only a handful of fans so he did sign for them.
