Since when has camping been trademarked? Are you just looking for something to whine about? Also, Ken has been doing stealth camping for a few years now.
@@Fragenzeichenplatte You must have missed the fact that Ken has been doing stealth camping videos for a few years now.. Seems like some of you just like to whine about everything.
Just a little tip for cleaning cast iron pans. Put a little coarse salt in hot pan and a little water scrub with a dish cloth and wood spoon until clean. Dump water out and wipe out with towel. Put pan back on fire until dry.
Next time cook steak and or chicken nachos. Bring the toppings (cheese, salsa, etc) seperate and cook pieces of steak and chicken and then top the nachos. Or homemade chili? Thats a warm meal for the snow.
I don’t understand how you can’t open and close the door by hand that’s all I’ve ever done I don’t even like using my button to lock and unlock my door
😊 kenI like you see do some more winter camping I've done the same thing what now I've done it in with the cab on my truck I like to see more camping in the winter thank you😊
I love these types of videos Ken, but I can't lie. As someone who has lived in South Florida now for over 25 years, who originally lived in Brooklyn NY and who misses cold and snow so much - I enjoy the snow coming down and the beautiful white of it all on the ground etc. It's so calming, and I miss it so much. I'm so glad you decided to do this little solo camp even in that weather. As for the sausage jambalaya, I use Zatarain's all the time. When I make baked chicken, I use their rice's every time (along with the Goya brand rice's) and they are quite good actually. Quite salty, but most stuff like that is super salty, so it is what it is lol Oh and Ken, I don't know where you are doing your C to F conversions but -5C is 23F not 15F :D
I’m sorry to say after watching you and Rusty and seeing you in Moose, I think I like the videos in moose, where you can stand up and talk to us and walk around. It’s more entertaining I think just my opinion which you know opinions everybody has.
Did winter camping once and never ever again! Not for me. 🥶🤣😂 Awesome for you for being brave enough to do it though! Jumbalya looked really good! Awesome vid, Ken! 😊😎🎄🎅🏻
Ken loving all your 24hr and camping videos and the exciting that you have when you do them!!! There are a few things I must ask, and this is a maybe common sense question? Why do you keep your van doors open while you’re cooking and it’s obviously cold and snowing? I would think you want your van to stay warm and not full of snow?..Just curious! Thnx…happy camping and eating…❤❤
I’m laying in bed watching and I had to get up and turn my heat up because this video made me feel cold 🥶😂 I’m in Georgia so we don’t get snow but I grew up in nyc so I definitely don’t miss that snow lol
I eat this Jambalaya about twice a month. And we usually drain the sausage grease first. Then add the water and the contents of the box and simmer it with the sausage after it comes to a boil. It has a better taste if the sausage cooks in with it.
I think you have Moo Shoo Duck for dinner. It makes me want to have some too. My Dad hunted ducks and pheasants. So we ate a lot of it, I remember being tired of it. Silly me. My Mom and Grandma only oven roasted it.
1. Position the poles of your tent in a V. This will help the weight of the snow not cause the tent to droop. 2. Put a small camp stove under the table with high flame. The wood is too wet to burn, but it will melt the sno and give you a usable table. Just turn the fire off when you go to sleep so the table doesn't catch fire in the night.
why you setup a tarp and you dont used it?? You can cook under it with no problem, just keep the flame low and everything is fine... not the sharpest knife in the box
I've had that Zatarain's Jambalaya mix many times. I use a pound of andouille sausage in it myself. Their gumbo, red beans and rice and etouffee mixes are also really good.
Ken, I would keep a long extension cord and a small electric heater in the van. In case you have access to external power. No need to be cold if you have power available.
watching this i realize how much i miss snow , in my country when i was a kid we had very nice seasons and winter use to be a thing with snow and cold ... Now i have not seen a decent snow (not even one such as this ) in more then 7 - 10 years and thas just sad . Any way great to see a video of winter camping i love this .
Love the view from camp Muskogee did you say? Yes love the other vlog on Huntsville, Ontario I saw. The Zatarains meal a very goid suggestion from hamburgers and hotdogs. Sorry that it got colder than you wanted but that's a nice area up there!
We use that same rice mix for our jambalaya. We add shrimp and sausage, and sometimes diced chicken. I also add diced onion, bell pepper, and a can of diced tomato. We love it! We've made it camping too before because it's filling and so easy !
Not that it’s gonna happen but I feel I must warn you to be safe. That buzzing noise you hear when unlocking the door is a door lock actuator and is the reason your left door won’t open and I’m sure the right one is on the way out. I would think about getting them changed before you get locked in the van and can’t get out in a hurry.
Hi Ken, for safety reasons and more for respect reasons , please dont film accidents 😢 you will never know somebody is badly hurt or died, just imagine someone would film one of your beloved people. $373.00 a night? Holy Shinola!!!😶 My Mom would pass out! I don't think my Father spent that much leaving our Concord at a campsite for a month in the 1970s!
I would try cooking on a camp fire when the flame isn’t trying to burn your face off. Just let the wood burn down to more coals. Your thought was good!
Finally...been waiting for this again, I missed them...Yes definitely more Id be good with. Great warm dish to make for it as well. A pre idea to do the rice and take it with you then add it to all the stuff then you know its cooked. But ya Ken keep these coming, I'm tired of watching the old ones over and over again...Joking. All praise for more from me on these.

And I think moose can do stealth camping. It has less windows and we see that style of van everywhere.
Def not hoodie weather Ken 🤣🤣 ❄️
I heard with those heaters that you have to keep the window a little bit open because if there’s no air coming in the heater automatically shuts off
I haven't had that problem yet
All I can ask is, WHY? I have no adventure to do that.
Pretty gormless design flaw that the fire stops working if it gets too cold.
Doesn’t look like Cuba.
