i think a lot of people are pointing out low energy but i feel like to actually give advice on what affected the energy might be due to how the dancers themselves contrast the vibe of the music. A lot of the energy in a performance stems from the expressions and moods of the dancers and i think a lot of the audience can notice how some dancers will not look happy/express the same feeling when dancing their part even though pretty u is such a happy song. So that contrast makes a lack of energy seem more apparent. there was one member in particular ( i won't describe specifically) who literally seemed unhappy during the thing like even if you're part isn't actively dancing just sitting and looking unhappy also subtracts from the good vibes of the choreo so it's always good to pay attention to that. I also think the lack of lipsyncing along with it plays a lot into the factor that it feels like not a lot of effort/passion was into the choreo too. Usually a lot of people who genuinely enjoy dancing seventeen can lipsync the main chorus or the english parts but a lot of the members looked stiff. Of course you're not serious performers or anything but i think in the future it might be better to vote on a song you guys actually enjoy because that way at least while you're dancing you won't need to worry too much about expressions/lipsyncing since you'll naturally be happy and want to sing along with the song you're dancing to. In this case there were members who perhaps didn't know the song as well or it wasnt their favorite and so that creates an off balance between the members who DO like pretty u and are willing to lipsync. Also i think there needed to be more practice before performing this just because there were some members who were looking at the group for direction and it might've not been too noticeable but just that shows that not everyone is too solid in the dance moves. but really a lot of improvement stems from practicing! hoping you guys the best in the new year :)
