Hey, can you detail how you wired up the power input "block"? What GA are u running for the power and ground and are you running directly to the main battery like an amp kit would be wired up? I get the remote turn on running from the Amp Pro to the Twk and then running a remote to the amp for turn on. I installed a full JL system in my 2016 Ram. I'm running a RD900/5 that's powering JL C2 600's all around and a 10W3v3 stealthbox. I ran all new JL speaker wire to components and sub, JL RCA's from the Amp Pro to my amp & JL 4ga. amp kit. Thank for your input.
For the twk I am running regular 16 gauge wire. The ground is connected to the same ground point as the amp ground, the 12vdc {battery} is wired directly to the battery,
Hello…I want to do this same thing to my 2020 Charger but I have a few questions hopefully you could answer…I want to use the optical as well, do all the chimes, blue tooth and rear sensors still work? I see you are using a different volume knob, does the stock HU knob not work anymore? Does everything function like it should?
Yes everything still functions as it should except for the the reverse chime, the volume will get low but no chime. However I do believe that was an issue with installation (so I have to look further into it). As for as the knobs, the stock HU knob does work, I use the DSP knob as the Master Volume and Bass (it has two knobs). The Pac AmpPro has a setting that lets you set the Minimum volume (basically like a Loud setting on an aftermarket radio) so I set that loud and offset with the DSP master volume.
@@IamRMHowzer I just had an install in my grand cherokee. I have the audio control lc8i hooked up to the head unit and about 4 amps for Bass, midbass, midrange and highs. Now there seems to be a constant hiss from the tweeters and mids even when the factor radio is turned off. Do you have that problem as well? I took it to a shop and the told me that because the factory radio is hooked you to amplifiers it will always have constant power until the vehicle is completely turned off.
I installed mine today- same car and setup. Using the Pac unit, I had terrible hiss and coil whine with the RCAs. I used the toslink and set it to 5 volts, although it is probably only for RCAs, and it is perfect ! When I was using the RCAs I tried both volt settings and it didn't seem to matter much either way- it didnt cut out unwanted noise nor did it affect performance.
So the usb can be connected and disconnected at will? Not have to stay connected to a laptop at all times?
Correct. Just connect the usb when you want to make adjustments to sound

@@IamRMHowzer are you running an inline fuse for the Twk?
@@nativetrader3822 not running a fuse at all on the twk

@@hampa07I did when I had the pac amp pro connected analog with the rca cables, but after I connected it with the digital optical cable it went away.
@@hampa07 Do you have the ANC module? You may need to get Amp Pro's ANC bypass harness.

The Pac Amp Pro puts out 4 volts- What volt setting did you end up using on the TWK88?

@@seansean8008 same here the rca's are horrible to use because of the hissing. switched to toslink and its perfect
