Find a price and sell it . Thats what we did 20 years ago when I worked at a dealership selling McKee crafts, May crafts and Cobia
100k IS a lot of money. Not one of those boats are worth IMO 40K. Yeah I am old school, where boats were considered expensive when each foot was 1k. Engines are too expensive these days as well. Buy used, and my last 2 boats I bought were one year old, after boat show buyers bought them, used maybe 3 times, probably got seasick, and realized they didn't want boat payments lasting 15 years. My last boat was a 24' Robalo CC..R240. Those twin 150 hp 4 stroke yammies back then were like 15k each. I paid 65k for it, a 2005 model. Built like a tank w/175 gallons fuel, and 6 gal holding tank, 10 gallons water. Heads in CC's are not worth it,,as a 10 gallon bucket will allow a normal plastic toilet seat to fit perfectly on top. Fill with a little water, use bio-degradable tp, dump overboard and dip to clean. Back in CC for storage. No need fancy toilets taking up space. Problem i ran into with our Texas average 2-3' chop was eventually cracked the TT top tubing. Problems with heavy fiberglass TT tops and gear mounted on top. Bracing tubes being hollow crack over time. At first Robalo wouldn't cover fixing it, until I orated about it on a popular Texas fishing website. Then Robalo caught wind, sent a 18 wheeler to haul it back to Georgia, replaced it with beefy new top, but took about 4 months. All that time payments continued, but no boat to use. So, new buyers need to be aware, if factory stuff goes wrong, first you need to jump through hoops to get warranty work fixed, and could be long time to get fixed, all while the payments continue. For me a 64 year old schooler, IF I buy a boat again in Texas, it will be a cruiser type fishing boat with cabin and gen set for AC. IF I end up back in Hawaii, which is the plan, a 23-25' World Cat left in Kona Hawaii. Flat water,,no trim tab worries, 2 engines. Even if I live in Honolulu, still cheaper to hop a quick flight to the Big Island, and Kona airport only couple miles to the harbor. Fish 2 days or so, hop back to Hono with cooler loaded of Mahi, Ono, Snapper, and Ahi. Even with hotel costs and air, cheaper to run offshore,,as half mile out drops off the 1k ' ledge. Savings in fuel pays airfare easily, and in my case, id 75 passes, as I am retired airline crew. Save money bigtime, buy USED. Avoid Florida hurricane boats. 🤙🤙🤙

@@SaltyCrouton - Sportsman Masters 247 bay boats. I even looked at a few different boats prior to buying the 2024 Sportsman, couldn't bring myself to taking chances on some of the others with quality and ride after owning a Sportsman, so I went back with another Sportsman. And their customer service! I had a couple questions on the Nema backbone connection for other Garmin accessories on this boat, sent Sportsman an email and had a reply within a couple hours with a photo from a current boat in production showing me where the new connections were located. Same with a couple other questions I had, very quick response. Unless another manufacture starts building a very user-friendly boat with excellent quality, I don't see myself buying anything else other than a Sportsman in a bay boat or deep-V. People make a mistake by not taking a look at Sportsman boats prior to purchasing. I paid extra to upgrade the trailer on current boat, I upgraded to a Ameratrail. I had Road King trailers on previous boats and a Venture Commander series for my last Sportsman boat. After seeing the construction and quality of the Ameratrail trailer and making several trips towing, well worth the upgrade cost, especially if the boat will be used in the saltwater.

@@chrism2042 what did u end up buying?
@@chrism2042 nice. Out of all the boats I looked at in this video the sportsman definitely looked the best in my opinion
