Such an amazing band... One of like 4 bands that I listened to in high school and still love. A lot of music i listened to then I look back and say "What was wrong with me? Maybe I was just young and stupid" but no regrets for this band... I'll never not love these guys. this is the first song I ever sang while I played guitar, helped me break that barrier, before i couldn't play and sing at the same time. My voice sucks but who cares, haha.
why does it matter where people hear about the song or the band? at least they are getting well deserved/long overdue attention. i've liked the band since they went on warped tour but i think its cool too how the writers of Glee work very hard to find the perfect song for each situation. im glad they do this because some of the bands they play i would've never known if it werent for them caring so much about the music selections.

I'm a shitty bastard that put partying and the sauce as my top priority not knowing that it would lead to me losing one of my dearest friends and maybe even my soul mate..she won't speak to me and it breaks my heart. I wish that I could just take it all back.

But please, for the love of God, do not let there be a shit load of people pretending to love Alkaline Trio because of this. They have been one of my favorite bands for at least the last ten years and I can't stand the thought of their music only becoming popular to an entire generation due to one song that isn't even one of their best.
It was supposedly gonna be covered on the same episode where they did "Somebody That I Used To Know," but every source I went to says that there were only five songs in the episode and none of them were this song, so I'm assuming it was just a rumor.
