I've written on my wetnotes with both a Milwaukee marker and a Sharpee marker. The Milwaukee ink smudged all over after just one dive. The notes written with a Sharpee are older and are still in perfect condition.
I recommend the Pilot Croquis mechanical pencil. You can using the existing cord from the old pencil by feeding it in through top hole and tying a knot. No sharpening needed and easily replaceable lead.
Thanks Chris, one again super informative. Would it be possible for you to do a video on deco gas selection. I remember you said in the Bonaire 100m shore dive that you chose 32% for your first because it meant you could switch faster and it came free with your package but why for your second did you choose 100% instead of 80% or 50%? Thanks.
I think that laminating would eventually be compromised. I use "write in the rain" Durarite paper. This appears to be the same synthetic material that the wetnotes use. You can run these sheets thur a laser printer for permanent printing that wont smear or otherwise degrade. We typically also print up the diver's name and contact information on the front sheet.
I read some reviews that say the desktop version had more tools than the app. Have you used the desktop version? I’ve been using Baltic Deco and running it against what my Perdix deco planner has. It was a lot cheaper than MultiDECO, but also had a lot more reviews and recent ones.
Yes. The MultiDeco pc version is significantly more capable than the mobile device version. To some extent, you can trick the mobile device version to do some more sophisticated calculations. This applies particularly to the calculation of ascent pressures. There will be an upcoming video on how to do this.
@@divezonescuba sweet! Looking forward to that then. I like the freedom of a mobile app, but if the right tool is the desktop version it is what it is.

I am using the Sharpie extreme these days.
Great Video! Any way you could blow up pictures of the wet notes? Great tips on setting up the notes! Thank You!
I think that I will print up some of those flow charts and put them on waterproof wetnotes paper for the 1000 subscriber giveaway.

No sharpening would be nice. I could get rid of the sharpener from my computer case. Headed to the art supply place now. Thanks for sharing.
Do you keep a plan for lost gas / +10m/ft etc?

That sounds like a great idea and controversial video subject. It’s in the queue.
Awesome Video. What is your opinion on printing out the permanent info and laminating.
