Get one that allows you to add and subtract weight! Grab on that carries up to 80 lbs. Then you can ramp up to it or do workouts with lighter weight for more reps ☝🏻💪🏻 Great question

Nice name 😂 Great question. If you can do an 8 minute mile, you’ll be good. Where you at with things?

@@FirefightingwithBrad I've still got a lot of work ahead of me. I haven't timed my mile yet. But I gained quite a bit of weight while working at AMR and going through medic school over the past couple years. Looking at academies has got me really intimidated, my academy warmup every morning will be a 4 mile run. I'm a resident firefighter for now and have just started general weight lifting and 1.5 miles with a weighted vest on the treadmill. I'm changing my diet entirely as well. department testing will be in April with an academy in July (they basically guaranteed me a job). I want to lose 50 pounds by July. Do you think the weighted vest on the treadmill and weightlifting will be enough? I appreciate ya!

@@Etomidate AMR will do that. You are on the right track, absolutely. Diet, cardio, weights. And don’t neglect that mindset. You’re stronger than you know. With intentional prep there is no doubt you will be ready
