We here in Austria do have our own small chocolate factory aiming for the same goals. It's called Zotter. You do have a very important mission. Keep on going!

This is a brilliant video, thanks for breaking down the mission of Tony's Chocolonely. It is truly stunning to me that Tony's never had a paid advertisement campaign! I also think that for-profit companies with conscious core values like Tony's are very important. I volunteer at an NGO, and I would hate my salary to be one of the "administrative costs" that people's donations are spent on. Instead, it would be great to work in a company which generates enough money to lead the change 'from within' the capitalist system, and continue to support NGOs voluntarily.

We reviewed almost 30 different bars of milk chocolate. Tony stands the winner and its not even close.

I will be happy to see if tonyschocolony and Barry callabaut are able to get Swiss chocolate companies to join the Tony Open Chain.
Cannot wait to see 2025 when tonys perfectly squared choco pieces signify equally divided chocolate value chain.

I am going to make my family aware of this right now. I am not going to buy another chocolate bar from any brand that supports slavery.

Guys, what your are doing is brilliant. Comment: none of the dates in the testimonies at 3:49 add up?! You cannot be 18 years old and be working on a plantation in 1999, cause you weren't born yet. Or is it footage that was shot 15 years ago? Then you should clarify cause it casts a doubt on your argument.

Antoine, yes, it's footage from the journalistic TV program from which we launched. Outdated, yet still a bitter fact of the cocoa industry today.
