@@Veecollette I stopped skating like 5 years ago, didn't really progress beyond the basics.
About 2 years ago I bought a new board and have been doing it on/off since. I don't really do flatground tricks at all. I can ollie and shuvit and nearly kickflip, but I enjoy miniramp skating, and I got a few impressive tricks down on that. It's much more fun than flatground imo. Haven't skated this year at all thinking about it

They take time man. I just started getting them down a few weeks ago. On the internet, you'll hear everyone say they learned them in a couple days. But don't worry about it, it's pretty common to take even a couple months to get them down.
Shawn Renaerts One thing that you should know about too when you hear that from ppl on the internet is that they have probably been trying to learn it from time to time and never really said that, and then they learned from practicing it for one week. But of course some makes it in days, but they probably got some really good help too

After you got a few kickflips down they will get easier to do ;)

+420 A.D Castle Clash They arent even that hard. Doubles are easy, just need to flick slightly harder. I remember when i was at the skatepark playing my friend in a game of skate and did one first try, he was pissed XD
I think there definitely is a difference between landing and learning a trick ;)
He's landed these in a couple older videos but now he's getting off an ankle injury and he hasn't done one yet

That reaction was absolutely hilarious. Where did that machine gun come from all of a sudden? LOL - I always enjoy watching you get super stoked that you landed a hard trick, you can tell its 100% genuine happiness. Keep doing vids like these. I just wanted to add that the trick to the triple kickflip is to flick hard, pop high and after the flick jump and tuck your legs up and stay crouched longer than normal so that the board has more time to spin. Some people even land this trick still in a crouched posture. When you keep this in your mind I can guarantee you that you will go out there and land alot more of them next session.

This makes Aaron a legend because he's one of the first ones in the world to hit this trick and he did it flat grounded which makes it even more impressive
You make me want to learn how to skate. I was given a skateboard as a kid but never took any interest in it. Now I see how much I am missing. But, like anybody who doesn't know how to skate, I suck. Even my 10 year old step-brother can heelflip, kickflip, pop shuv, front/backside (180's) as well as ollie like 2 feet in the air. I can pop shuv somehow, but i can't ollie or do anything else.
Basically what i'm saying is, I want to learn, but I just don't know how to. I also can never make my foot slide up the board and level in the air. I think it's a lot with not committing, but also because I just can't seem to get my foot to do that. I can see how to do the tricks, but I can't make myself actually do and land it (I can flip the board sometimes, but I just can't land it, or if I do, it's one foot).

Yep. Just start pushing around on your first foot you put forward to run a mile. Don't push mongo, but your foot on the front of the board. (below the bolts or on them) And push slowly with the other foot. Be calm and confident. If you fall, it's okay it's all a part of the learning process
Dont ride mongo cuz i ride mongo (but learning regular!) and i have been bullied heaps from everyone at my park!!! Even though i can tre flip and am better than everyone there
I have been practicing when I can (Which has been for about a month total time overall) and I can kickflip, Ollie, Pop shuv, Front Shuv, 360 Shov and some No-Comply tricks. Working on Heelpflips (Can do maybe 1-2/10) and Varial Kickflips. I push mongo. It just feels proper to me, and "regular" pushing is just weird to me, but I stand regular.
Unfortunately, where I live, I only get to ride outside for about 4-5 months, and currently I am stuck learning with a Walmart board.
Man it would be amazing to be able to do what Aaron Kyro can.
Children have no life and skate 24/7 so they get OK at it that don't means shit tho just means they been at it long. U can skate at any age and most pros are old not kids at all so grab a board and get to it just don't give up it can take a year to Ollie loll if not months even pros took that long and admitted it I seen.

To those beginners having problems landing single kickflips start with your feet close apart and the board will spin faster as you start to get comfortable and land them start to spread your feet apart more. (it helped me when I used to skate)
Helped me too when I was learning them...now they are second nature!

Nice job, I do triple quite a bit, tips from me are first off.. you’ll want to be moving a bit, not fast but it helps, wearing shorts also helps a lot, you don’t want your trucks too loose, and put your foot close to the edge of the board for more of a kick. All these pointers help trust me. I’ve got one vid on UA-cam (five on flat James Stevens) doubles are my thing

I've learned a heelflip today.
I found doing a triple easier to do when you bring the kick foot a little past the mid point of the board going toward the tail but toes directly inline of the screws toward the nose and just kicking as hard as you can when you ollie.

He said it himself, he wasn't the first to do it. People have been doing it for years. There's even a video I saw of a guy doing it in a clown suit, weird shoes and all.

I actually have no idea what the video's called. But there is one guy that kind if does it. Sketchy as hell and looks like shit, but kind of it. "Reda Hedada Read Flip" something like that.
King Barney I saw that. Only other video who claims it, and what he did was more of an awkward 360 flip. The first rotation was vertical, but the second was just a shove it motion. It only flipped once, and it was only vertical at the beginning.
So far, he and chris chann are the only people who have claimed it, but chris chann is the only one who has done it.
