Thank you for posting. I just purchased a GE Profile induction range with the precision control smart oven. Just installed yesterday. There we no detailed reviews when I had to make my purchase so thank you for this one. Mine has the in oven camera which isn’t great as you say. But people should know that any oven with the in oven camera cannot have the self clean feature. Only steam clean is available since excessive heat would destroy the camera. There was misinformation entered in the FAQs by a GE employee for the model I purchased. I only discovered this after receiving the range.
Your content and explanations of how to use the ovens were great, thanks for doing that. GE doesn't give a buyer of this oven most of the information you provide. And I like that you show the "not perfectly clean" oven -- you actually use the ovens and you've become an expert on how to use them. As you work to improve your videos, I'd suggest: Using a real camera (such as a GoPro) for much better quality and editing capabilities. Use a tripod to avoid a wobbly video. Ensure the video is in focus (e.g., when showing the control panel). And think you may do this already: film the video and do a voice over to explain what you're showing. It give you a chance to clean up the audio presentation.
I am getting my oven replaced due to severe gouging into the sides of the oven from the racks. You are right, obviously you don't put the rack in at an angle but the problem I'm facing is that the racks do not fit properly no matter how straight you insert them. I made sure to apply the graphite lubricant but made no difference. GE rep stated the same thing. He's hoping the next one will have proper clearance. Also the display is acting all bizarre. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I've heard preheating takes a long time, and I think there's not a Fast Preheat on these wall ovens. Also, do you know the max regular bake temperature? I occasionally use 500 degrees, but I think the max may be 450 degrees on bake. Thanks so much!
So we just purchased this oven and so far I really like it except for one problem it does not beep after it's been preheated. Can you confirm this with yours? Also what firmware are you on? I only have baked goods, meats, potatoes for precision cooking. Thanks
Any chance I can get a video of the USB camera connection with the camera connected. I just received this oven and something does not look right. The connection cord is backwards and the camera does not work on ours.
We just purchased the same oven and after watching your video I looked at the settings and I can’t find the screen you showed that asked for your zip code for weather. Where is that setting?
I live in a dorm and we have a communal kitchen we have a g.e. profile wifi connected oven....I do not have access to the owners manual how tf do I use this thing before I die of starvation
2 years later and still love the oven. There was an issue with the lower vent fan rattling that GE has a technical service bulletin out on that needed fixed. It was covered under my 1 year factory warranty. The software automatically updates itself when connected to WiFi. Other than that nothing to note. Very happy with the oven. Thanks for supporting the channel.
My oven has a camera and it’s never worked. They’ve been out going on 8 times!!! GE does NOT back their product!!!! It always black screens the camera doesn’t work and GE’s position is nope sorry don’t know how to help so therefore can’t and won’t. I’ve only had this since December 2021!!!!! They’ve been out EIGHT TIMES!!!!! every single time they’re like we don’t know how to fix this sorry and replace some arbitrary part and tell me to call back and reschedule which is always at least a month out. This company is disgusting!
I had the same exact thing happen with that same model. I ended up telling them to come get it and give me the model without the camera and refund me the difference. The model without the camera loses the soft close door feature as well as the camera but so far it's worked out great for me.
I will wait and buy the first one that works with Siri and apple HomeKit with HomePods. My old oven is fine until that day. On that day my oven will be trash. I am rebooting my efforts for a smart home. It’s apple or nothing.

I've used the convection setting to get to the temp I need and then go back to regular oven setting

Are you able to measure the height and width (not the specs from GE)? want to make sure they're accurate.

Can you air fry without using wifi? You can bake w/o wifi control.
