This is what makes the difference between a pro and a normal human being. Training for perfection and repeating tricks to nausea. This is so cool, I like this attitude. Thought the same thing watching Tom Asta's videos! He is never satisfied until the trick is crazy perfect.
these are awesome.. hopefully your aware that people just like watching you skate, so don't be detered if you think you dont have a good video idea on a certain week, i think it would be enjoyable to just watch you skate anything.. so hopefully you upload more.
I got a Santa Cruz pro model Deck gifted by my fiancés brother, I didn’t know who the skater was tho. And now I just randomly came across your video and read ur name and seeing how good u are and then I realized it’s urs haha mad😂🙌🏾
Had no clue you had a whole youtube channel. My favorite style in modern skateboarding, its insane to see just how quickly you get into your element. Cant wait to see more!
Love watching you skate back home. Being from PA this resonates with me, especially when you are with the Day 1 homies too. This isn’t typically the style of video I usually watch but cheers Maurio I really enjoyed this. Killing it always🙌
Love it. Seeing the angle of approach is interesting and would be cool to see more videos of that sort of thing. How you approach ledge and rail tricks, where you pop from in relation to the obstacles etc. thanks bro!
Ah hell yeah. Instant sub. 🔥, and needed this one fa sho, been workin on it for a while. Got it pretty consistent slow but like 1 in 100 when I speed up. Would you say you’re doing more of a flat kickflip, catch then crook? Or more like a ten degree frontside flip that automatically lands in the crook? And keep ‘em coming player! Super sick.
@@maurcoy wtf you responded! i thought i was just another comment...its currently 8:26am and your comment hyped me for skating today....have a good day bro and everyone else in the comment section
Sick video homie! Very cool to see the park you grew up at and love this concept. Deff want to see more videos like this! Best style in the game brother
Really cool to see you do flip krooked grind over-and-over, as I'm eager to learn this trick and still need to figure out how to approach the obstacle. It would be cool if you could share some pointers though, even minimal. Great content, I look forward to your next video!
Yes sirrrrrr! Ever since I met you at that contest in Fayetteville, NC I told everyone you were that guy. Hyped to see you having a channel man, always supporting and much love The skate scene as a whole has changed so much and continues to do so, keep looking out for yourself and grinding.
That was awesome dude! :) I wish it wasn't 10pm at night because these kind of grind videos get me so hyped to skate. Hahaha It made me so sad to hear about your ankle injury after you came on to the SLS scene ripping. I'm more into UA-cam skaters like John Hill, Jonny Giger, and now Tom Asta than the traditional skater, so it's awesome to see you make some content! :D Please make this a regular thing! You never know if an injury will permanently end your professional career, so at least UA-cam could give you a second outlet.
@@maurcoy That's awesome to hear! I can't wait to see what you've been cooking. I do freelance graphic design and video editing, so if you ever feel like the "UA-cam Process" is too much work, but you want to keep active on UA-cam, I would love to help. :)
Damn! That’s a lot of kickflip crooks. Was that your whole session, or did you do anything else before and after the video? Also, how long did doing all that take you? And did you show every attempt or were there ones you left out?
I don't know how your channel just popped into my youtube but the algorithm is crazy because I only skate your 8.25 vx deck. By the way dude maybe you can help push some decks to shops in Denmark. Me and some dudes from the local park only skate your model and they are SO HARD to find to the point that I ordered them from California once. I think combined we used about 30 vx's, your model so maybe you can do us a favor. We hate changing and defently can't go back to skating regular 7 ply.
Hit me up on IG and lemme know what shops are around you guys. I’ll see if there’s anything I can do with getting some boards distributed in your area. I’m stoked to hear you love the boards! Thank you 👊🏾
So sick! Why do you start on the flatbar? maybe its just me and my fear of commiting on a flatbar 😅 but starting on the ledge seems like it'd be easier to learn something?
In order of easiest to hardest it would go hubba, ledge, handrail then flat bar. I skated the flat bar first because it’s 100% the hardest and scariest haha
really impressive and nice to watch ! what kind of injury did you have ? i had a problem with my ankle and now some tricks are so scary to do ,keep on!
I can relate to that. I completely tore my peroneal tendon in my flicking ankle. It took me about a year and a half to get back to jumping down stuff again and still has its challenges in terms of mental limitations. I try my best to try whatever I’m feeling scared of because most times it’s just in my head.
@@maurcoy thank you for your answer ,oh yes i see you had very bad injury :( . I had mine on tre flip on a gap and now this trick is so scary but yes it's mainly mental ! I got to be confident again ;) Wish you to completely recover ! You have a very good style ,nice that you have a channel !
Great video. I've been struggling with sprained/injured ankles ever since I started skating again around my 30's. I feel like they have become a weak spot and some tricks do feel different than before like you say in the video. What do you do to try and prevent ankle injuries?
LETS GOOOO
Inspired by you brotha!
so sick how you sync the beat with the skating, cant wait for more
🙌🏾🙌🏾

Clean. You make em look easy. Respect. 👊
Definitely, please make more videos!!! Also nose blunt nollie flip would and amazing video.
Boutta put me to work with that one! Haha
@@maurcoy you’ve got that on lock. After seeing you do that in Charlotte, on the top box, I was blown away. Keep up the great content.
That was amazing. Next session, up the hubba, then up the handrail. Just kidding - thanks for the content.
I saw that buttery ledge in the preview and I subscribed to steal your spots
I love it dude! Good stuff bro🤙✌️
Sick man I love it! Keep 'em coming
Love that more pro skaters are making channels 🤙
Me too. I feel like I get to learn more about some of my favorite pros as well as share more of my story!

1:30 this composition is so beautiful. Look at these cars. I love the angles you chose, and also the tricks-music sync. Amazing skating
Subscribed! Killing it!
The way to maintenance is repeat repeat and repeat!! Thanks Mario, sharing your way to perfection
That’s the only way!
Satisfying & dope. Nice smooth style. Repping PA skaters 👊🏽

I’m stoked to hear that! Imma make more videos when I’m back home and show some love to the local prefab parks we all love and hate haha
You're so sick man haha. Also random, but I had to cop that Skateboarding is not a crime sweater after I saw your berrics video haha. Big up
I’m stoked to hear you love that sweater just as much as I do!
Great skating!👏🏽
yooooo I do this with every new trick I learn, (on a smaller scale)
I thought I was nuts, so sick to see someone at this level does it too hahaha
Gotta get the reps in! Only way to do it!
I respect the Grind bro🙌🛹🎵 clean flatground tricks! made it look effortless

Awesome video man, you’re amazing. I like that park a lot, too.

This was lots of fun to watch. Keep these coming. I can maybe get one kick flip crook on a curb out of 50 try’s lol.

There will most likely be a video in the future explaining the process of how this trick actually works!
Kick flip crooks look pretty much textbook bro, dialed in pretty good

I try to do other things that strengthen my ankles/ legs that are low impact. I spend a lot of time cycling when im not skating and it helps a ton
