    Blood is only tissue in human body found in liquid form.
    Is it possible for you to show us blood tissue under Microscope?

    • @sizzleshnizzle9484
      @sizzleshnizzle9484 2 роки тому

      Blood has different ( microsolids within them solid). The only part that has fluid like properties is the plasma which has yellowish colour. Red blood cells have the dominant and most noticable colour so that's why our blood looks red

    Cool vid.
    Minor correction regarding the osteon, though. The haversian canal contains just arterioles.
    The bone has no veins per se inside and also lacks any lymphatic system. Innervation happens at the periosteum, which outlines the cortical bone.
    Cheers.

      @sci-inspi  5 років тому +8

      Interesting, I was using my anatomy textbook for information when I made this video which states there are veins. Could you kindly provide a source so I can post a correction in the description? Thank you.

    • @kakek4093
      @kakek4093 5 років тому +8

      @@sci-inspi I stand corrected. Histology Texbook by Ross. Haversian canals contain blood supply (artery and vein) and a nerve fiber. But no lymph vessels.
      My courses apparently missed mentioning veins and nerves for some reason.
      Live and learn.

    Why bone has silverish color?

    • @sci-inspi
      @sci-inspi  11 місяців тому

      It’s more of a white color. The silver comes from the stain used to make the tissue easier to see under the microscope

    Is this much like a tree branch.. are we basically trees inside?

    • @akeem2983
      @akeem2983 2 роки тому

      I think that trees are made mostly from organic polymers, while bones are composite material made from organic polymers (but different from ones that plants use) and hydrosyapatite. So, our bones work like a mixture of cartillage and… stone?
