I don’t think I’ve seen such a dominant run on Drag Race since Bianca Del Rio and Bob the Drag Queen. Congrats Sasha!!

Sasha was a breath of fresh air on drag race. So professional, so likeable, so talented, so obviously seasoned in her craft and such a worthy winner. She was an absolute pleasure to watch every week and I cannot wait for her world domination.

As a Hawaiian I have to admit that I was waaay too invested in Sasha winning, like whether she won or lost I was gonna cry. A couple months ago I went to a museum exhibit here in Honolulu about the Kapaemahu, (it's worth googling) which are four stones that represent four Legendary Mahus (mahu is very loosely translated as queer, gay, or otherwise non-binary but it has a bunch of other cultural connotations). Sasha Colby is for me the continuation of our ancestral veneration of mahus as powerful, magical healers. She is Legendary for me in the truest sense of the word.
Thank you so much for sharing this. If you haven't seen We're Here (featuring Bob, Shangela, and Eureka from Drag Race), there's an episode that focuses on Hawaii and the influence Mahu individuals have in the culture. It's really interesting and heartwarming, if you ever want to watch!

It was pretty intense and really awesome to see, I think I'm gonna try to catch that other episode that came out recently where a bunch of bigots showed up. It's awesome to be able to celebrate Sasha Colby in light of all the hatred out there recently. I'm just so grateful.
i don’t think it’s a coincidence that the divine essence that is Sasha Colby won drag race during Merrie Monarch weekend. i think there needed to be all the mana in the world and it wasn’t just coming from merrie monarch, but i felt so much mana coming from the finale through the screen. my boyfriend is kanaka and he equated sasha colby winning/merrie monarch intersecting to when mauna loa erupted on lā kū`oko`a and i was like. damn. that gave me MAD chicken skin. but the world needs this.

The more light we shine on her, the more I become intrigued by her. She has a light that is so warm and loving and it just makes her THAT much more amazing and golden!

Sasha demonstrates how drag artists and performers absolutely have the capacity to practice humility and humbleness. I think we as an audience of drag content, as well as other drag artists themselves, could afford to take a page from Miss Colby’s book.

Tbh Season 15 was my introduction to Sasha Colby and it has been a pleasantly fabulous experience watching her and becoming a fan. She is so inspiring because she is so graceful, grounded and positive. I haven’t felt this way about a contestant for a minute. She never disappointed me on the show I was impressed!!! I love this woman’s energy and her talent is awe-inspiring! I realized why she is your favorite drag queen’s favorite drag queen so clearly. How can you NOT fall for this Goddess!!?? 💚🐍🔥

I was vaguely aware of who Sasha Colby was before this season. I am grateful that my understanding of who this woman is has grown immensely. She is the whole package when it comes to talent, ownership, accountability and an all around great personality. She seems like a woman that would be so appreciative of people fan girling over. Can’t envision a better role model for so many kids, trans or sis gendered.
