Then, I realized that they were hovering around the Pa note and Hemavathi sung from Pa is indeed Kiravani! But the beauty of Hemavathi is around that Pa note. Slipping between that Ma and Pa and occasionally flirting with Da and Ne truly sounds otherworldly in this Ragam! Wish we had many more compositions in this ragam.

Cannot stop listening to how beautifully they bring out the pure divinity and devotion in Hemavathi... both brothers are so in sync that it's hard to discern that they are two different individuals. The krithi has a soul in it which creates a sort of very intoxicating and sullen mood and it leaves you wanting for more. And once again, Something to be experienced. Goddess kAnthimathi(Parvathi) is saluted and depicted with great care by dIkshithar. Every word has its beauty and infinite possibilities to showcase the beauty and scope of this rAgA.
