- The guys at Quick Latch have developed an actual quick latch kit for the ford mustang S550. We updated the Quick latch system on scarlet to showcase these new features from Quick Latch.

I'm about to replace the front fascia on my 2017 GT convertible with a Roush facia. I'll only install the Quick Latch if I fuck up and break the factory clips. Otherwise, it will probably be years before I'll need to again remove the front fascia--if ever.

Have had mine for a couple of years too but notice the nut on the side fender keeps going loose and always have to retighten both side by hand 1-2 times a week!
Did you use thread lock on the bolts?

Baffling!!! WHY not just fix it RIGHT.. I guess calling a step drill a Christmas tree is a clue...
These tabs are a piece of shit if you take off your bumper often you’ll end up breaking it regardless how careful you are ford made them cheap as hell and honestly the quick release gives me more confidence than those tabs
@@-nano756-4 I don't like them either but they are the intended attachment points and you won't get a good tight fit if they are faulty. They can be repaired and made stronger.. They will always be a pain but how often does someone need to remove it? Disassembling a car body over and over has never been a daily thing for me.. Once in a long while when needed...
@@twistedhillbilly6157 the only times I’ve seen people constantly take the front bumper off is when their car is extremely low almost rubbing. These where designed more to fix the problem with the clips that usually break. There’s better kits out there for people who are constantly taking off the bumper
@@hoosiernative9668 I had a long career in precision metal fab and I did a lot of work for the aero space and DOD industries.. As a hobby I played with Saturday night dirt-track race cars. Anyone with 2 active brain cells used Dzus tabs for a panel that needed to be removed but would stay put when in use.. It is baffling to see this nonsense and they actually seem to think they're cool.. The new generation of micro minds is scary al heII
