Was a bit surprising you allowed the pin on the bishop. He had no way to punish it fast but it put your minor pieces in a bind. Sure, you could play something like Rd6 and a Be5 to trade everything but then it's a draw. Still, you found a way to win. And looking for better than mate in one was textbook Chessbrah move 😂 Edit: 2nd game is a sneaky trick because it looks like you win two minor pieces for a rook 😅 Both my 2k+ teammate and I fell for it against an FM, who had a good laugh about it 😆
At 3:49, taking with bishop first follow by knight would of had forked the queen and the rook for a more interesting play, right? Or maybe I'm bad and missed something
Weirdly enough I saw the mate at 15:00, but since you missed it for a couple of seconds I started to question my sanity and ended up discarding the idea. Lmao
I feel like it’s pretty good too when I face it. It kinda forces black to play like a Scandi, and that can make Caro players really uncomfortable. It’s pretty much the only line that makes me change up my typical Caro plans.

Accelerated Panov is a greatly overlooked response to the Caro Kann. I did a UA-cam search and there isn't many videos on this opening.

I’m pretty sure the engine thinks it’s the best response to the Caro Kann. At least that’s what I remember from when I analyzed it a while back.
