The underbody panel should only be held on by a handful of screws and pushpins. It should come off relatively easy. If you are having difficulties, take it in to your closest U-Haul and have one of our Hitch Professionals assist! This hitch has a weight rating up to 4500 lbs GTW and 675 lbs TW. So as long as your bike/Trailer combination does not exceed those limits, you should be good. However, always check your vehicle manufacturers trailer weight capacity. There are instances where this can be less than the hitch rating.
Looks good, is there light hookup available if we want to tow a very small utility trailer or similar?
What about the motion sensor to open the hatch? It is now blocked by the hitch
