That looks like an amazing track to run on. I appreciate the precision and detail that went into the track course, garage area, and electronics hub. Good work!

Your presentation of concept to race day was stunning. Great attention to detail, from utility to eye candy, make this racing facility a real winner in every respect. Not my favorite scale but the cars appear that the driver must operate the car rather than depend on the car doing the heavy lifting. The track layout (lane spacing) in the tight radius turns insures the brain must be engaged every lap. For me that's where the fun is.
    My compliments!!

+mofo slim Thanks for watching and commenting, you are totally right about having to drive the cars all the time there is only a few places were you can try to pass, make for very tight racing.

Where did you get the copper tape? Also how well do the cars stick to the surface? What kinda paint did you use ? Was it a flat? Does it have a texture?

Since you have a bullrun, can you build a REDROCK?! :D

Design on the wood, not paper, much more accurate, then build the table from the track, use the track as the structural member that gives it strength and you cut your build time to less than a 1/3 and it looks better because it isn't made from corners, race tracks aren't square... I get more strength than you do, from a fraction of the wood you use and it's less than half the weight. MDF is a wonderful structural member... learn to use it

Yes, but can you stand on it when it is done, I do not think so and can you reassemble, no it will be like Ikea furniture.

You don't need to stand on it, the track doesn't get in the way. And yes I regularly rebuild my track, that's part of the reason i build that way, so I can pull it apart really easily and change it. It also fits anywhere I want it to fit. My last 12m track raced 24th, 32nd, HO with fastest lap coming from a Parma flexi 5.3 sec. I have the best of both worlds, the adaptability of plastic, with the speed of wood.

this is just crazy, wacky good. now stop making it look easy and do an outtakes video.
you play ty penington and entice a strong-egoed buddy to dress up like paige. we'll have lots of hurry-hurry music with scads of over-the-top enthusiasm. And if he won't camp it up, move on to next guy.
dealbreakerII: homer-moments. do not leave them out. as one who struggles (valiantly?) with even the basics, i find it simply amazing that can execute your plan to that degree of precision. due bravo

No over and under tracks, please. They are not realistic.
