Yes! We think mooching and jigging are both very affective way to catch fish. Each is good in different settings so you have to factor in where the fish are, where the bait is, and what the currents doing. We have only used deep 6 divers a couple times and found them to be useful for Coho fishing but that's about all we use them for. I would still recommend a downrigger over a deep 6.

During the run, the nisqually is pumping with salmon, this year will be better because of pinks coming in.

@@BigDersFishingLife There's some good stocked trout and kokanee fishing up here (Bellingham). In the fall there's also chum and silver salmon.
