I had the privilege of playing bass on this record with Thomas Whitfield , He was my mentor and such a inspiration to all musicians from Detroit ,,, Lanar Kern Brantley ,he is Greatly missed
LANAR KERN BRANTLEY~God bless you brother! I remember reading the liner notes as a kid and seeing your name all the time on THOMAS'S albums! Great musicians you guys are on those records! Nobody like Thomas! Miss this kind of Gospel Music. Continued Success Lanar!
I have this in heavy rotation in 2021! The Maestro's music will always be relevant! Thank you so much for posting. I will see you in the morning where the sun doesn't fade!
I couldn't agree more. I had this on cassette tape as a young boy. There are so many influences in his sound. I love and adore his music. Without a doubt he was great contributor to the craft.

Roger Williams I've always wanted to know!!
I'd ike to know for sure also but I believe it is Gwen Morton. Sounds just like her. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It may be Karen Clark Sheard
Gwen Morton Paul Morton's sister
