Very nice. These are an excellent addition to zippers for the elderly or people with disability who need some bulk or texture to accommodate for loss in grip.

I should add that I use mason's twine for most of these. The really brightly colored stuff you find in the rope section. It doesn't need much strength for a zipper pull but the vivid colors can be helpful.
If I want something that will disappear, I use crochet nylon because it is available in neutral colors.

Brilliant video. The best thing about it, is that you actually gave the lengths of paracord required. Something most paracorders do not.

Hey Tim, was wondering if you'd ever consider a tutorial for a mega cuff like the Predator Mask? I see it all over Pinterest but never a step by step or guide to do it.

I just checked that tutorial out, it's pretty complex. I may have to save something like that for a Patreon video unfortunately. The past few complex bracelets I've done haven't gotten many views. ☹

hey i was wondering what knot I could use if i switched out the black 275 for gutted 550.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

You can still use the snake knot , diamond knot, or any other stopper knot with gutted 550. They should all work fine.

Nice video and very helpful for me in my job.
May I please have the name or brand of the Jacket you used to tie the Snake Knot zipper pull to?

Nice work. I'm going to make a bunch of these. Any info about the knurling/finishing tool you used to finish the melted ends? Also, which lighter is that? Thanks for this & all the rest you do on your channel.

Hi Steve, the finishing tool is my knotter's tool and the lighter is an Iroda Jet Lighter. All of which you can find through my Amazon store page, link is in the description. Thanks!

I am new to making things with paracord.
I like the tool you used around 3:45 with the knurled section for adding texture to your melted cord ends. Can you tell me what the tool is called?
Thanks for the nice video! I plan to make some zipper pulls following your method.

Bro my snake knots don't look like that at all.

Is there anything that is equal to 275 cord

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  5 років тому

You can use any thinner diameter cord you want. I think even gutted 550 would fit through most zippers.
